DIY Demo Ideas:

Detailing - we can practice on my car
Installing LED's
Replacing Rotors
Sea Foam - we did this at a sac meet, got some great pics

Another idea; have people submit All Cali Meet 2009 logo concepts. Make a contest out of it. We can use the winning design for T-Shirts or something

Since I am into car audio, I might be able to get my installer and/or tuner to come and demo some equipment, talk about install designs, system tuning, etc....

Maybe we can get some stuff for a raffle as well...

Yeah...we should have a little logo contest for '09.

I think that's cool and original.

well i'll estimate everything. the prizes would be larger if the fee was more, i mean i'm not going to take any of it.

as for the food, it WON"T be held responsible for one person. I was thinking since some people marinate well or know where to get it. i will reimburse them since its a specialty item which I might not be able to get.

anyways i will be using socal resources to transport and obtain food. no biggie there.

more discussion of activities, contests/raffles.

We have enough time that we can get as much stuff donated for prizes as possible....hit up some of the azine vendors etc...Also, the raffle money could offset some of the expenses as well

Acurazine shirts would be cool with logo from whoever wins the All-Cali Logo contest.

I'd buy one!

I would definitely buy a shirt as well...there's got to be some good artist on this site...

One idea: a chip foose type rendering of a concept Acura with reference to the All Cali Meet 2009...we'd have to come up with a cool tag line

If we get the logo in a digital picture format.

Depending on the shirt quality....

I can get the shirts printed for cheaper than $25 regardless of the amount.

I sell shirts through my music label for the music I make.

I could probably get them for $20 / person again regardless of the number of buyers.

I could set them up through my website to purchase and they would come right to your door...you would select the size online yourself and pay with credit card.

Do it all the time...very easy.

As long as I have the winning logo a month in advance I can fulfil all the shirt orders.

We could always have something like what 1blwn made but you can put a lighter colored sketch of California on the back and then you could put the city on the sleeve or replace the norcal and so cal with the Major city that we are repping.

I'll have my graphic artist throw something together for you guys to look at....

I'm thinking keeping it simple...bad ass modded acura screen printed on the back and All Cali Acurazine 2009 in small print on the front...

We'll see what he comes up with and what you guys think

It will be a few weeks before he will have time, maybe someone else will come up with something killer before that

Personally...instead of having this Nor Cal / So Cal deal.

IMO...we should have ONE Unified design for ALL-CALI...which is the purpose of our meet anyways.

I agree with others that "FROM THE BAY TO LA" is not representative of everyone so it's a little out of place for a slogan...but good for hip hop & rap tracks.

If you guys want to have the shirts made...it need to be something relatively simple.

No fancy stitching type shit or this on the shoulder blade and that on the collar.

Simple.

Image/logo in front

Image/Logo in back

The more complicated this gets...will drive up costs and I don't think everybody is trying to spend $25 or $30.

dang you and me think a like. i was actually trying to find a black and white bay bridge picture to put as the background on the back and kinda fade it in
as far as so cal i wanted to put a picture of the city on the back. or put the LA dodgers logo the LA on the back and SF giants for the nor cal ones... but yea i got lazy lol took me about 20 mins to collect all that and then i got lazy..

t-shirt designs shouldn't say socal/norcal. but all-cali or something.

i might be picking up a screen printing press so i might be able to make the t-shirts. i took a class on it 2 years ago.

this way we can have our names/screen names on the t-shirts as well... and depending on the design, it can say socal/norcal. whatever you guys like.

anyways, we can have a contest and deadline for submission of designs. can be sketched or photoshopped, doesn't really matter.

My bad.

Not trying to offend just giving my on the idea.

I appreciate that you were pro-active in working on something.

Just think this ensues some Nor Cal / So Cal rivalry ish and is not representative of the "All California" Acurazine scene.

Those printers are huge...where you going to put it?

If you could facilitate that with the screennames....sick.
