Okay so how many members do we really have that are north of Sacromento? I know we are trying to find a neutral spot for the meet but I don't believe for us San Diego or Los Angles guys that Sacremento is the first spot we would choose. Sacremento is like a 10 hour drive for some of us down here. What about San Jose or even further down south a little?

I looked at a map on mapquest. Plotted the total distance between San Francisco and San Diego. The major towns that are closest to central between the two are Pismo, SLO, and Bakersfield...the best I can tell.

I'm the only person, that I am aware of, that is north of Sac who has attended any of these. Bakersfield isn't on the top of my list. Pismo or SLO would work fine.

I'm glad we have 6 months to plan this, it may to 3 to figure our a spot

Happy Holidays Everyone

From past experience which place has been good for you guys? You guys have had 3 so far right? Just pick the place that worked out the best the years before and just make it the annual spot that way it can grow and every year people will be anticpating the same place and maybe we can draw some crowds.

I would support the idea of sac but a good point has been brought up that this is not exactly the center of CA's population. I think some place around Bakersfield or San Jose would be good for all cal meeting. I hope to get my Hondata by that time

SLO is ~1 hour away from SB, my gf lives there so she suggested a few places that looked great esp since they were on the beach.

as for SLO, i've been browsing some web sites, can't find anything solid.

let me know what he finds. we just need the following:
- bbq pit
- good parking lot
- enough for 70-90 cars/people.

We all make compromises. SB wouldn't be a bad idea. The hardest part is to find a big open parking lot.

all this "lets have it at sac" crap is pretty immature, SLO is where it will be and surrounding areas.

i said im tired of people saying lets have the meet in sacramento. fact: summer weather is warmer/nicer towards the equator, but we're having it in central california. too far for u? don't go seriously.

got a problem, take it to the PM. i'm trying to set up a meet not argue with u.

sacramento is ridiculous for ALL-CALI. if u want a sac meet, go back to the sac thread, not the all-cali thread. if i wanted a socal meet, i'll go to a socal thread.

having a meet only convenient to YOURSELF [in sac] is selfish which in turn is immature. it'll take sd people ~8 hours to drive there, where as sac just drive 5 minutes. so making a stupid suggestion on having an ALL-CALI meet in way up north (or even south) is SELFISH and IMMATURE. so if i need to make it any clearer please PM me.

an i'm not singling out him, i'm saying everyone.

Do u even pay attention to what we are saying?! we are NOT calling for an All-cali meet in sacramento.... jeez ! We all say slo/pismo! Just get over the word "sacramento" finally and continue the thread
