there might be enough parking in Morro Bay next to Morro Rock for everybody, its in the dirt though..its about half hour from Pismo and SLO..or, if anybody is familiar with Fresno there is the Riverpark Shopping Center with a two storied parking structure..maybe we can get the top level, its big enough

Yoh, Ive seen the car shows done on the second story of the RiverPark Parking Structure! It gets completely closed off & the only access is by Foot - STAIRS or ELEVATOR. They work out GREAT.... Plus there is great Entertainment right downstairs! FOOD, BARS, MOVIES, ICE CREAM, CANDY, & SHOPPING.

sweet, thanks for clearing that one up..i think it would be cool to bring something like that to the fresno area..so we could use the parking garage..what do you think guys? everything is close and woodward park/millerton lake is close by as well

yeah, the whole second story could easily fit everybody with room to spare and as people drive by on the freeway they could see how badass our cars are..i think it would be a great idea..were you guys talking about the parking garage or woodward park? if the meet is in july like last year it is gunna be HOT AS HELL if we do the garage..the park would be our best bet i.m.o.

While we are still debating locations. Let's look at potential dates.
June or July was proposed. people ruled out July 4th and 11th.
That leaves June or July 18th or 25th...
When is everyone out of school?
We need to nail down and date and location, so we can start promoting and planning other aspects...
Also, can we set up a poll for locations? We don't seem any closer now to a decision then we were 2 months ago...having a get together on the top floor of a garage sounds bad too me (no offense). No shade, all concrete, hot as hell = not cool

Not disrespect to anyone, but I'm not too keen on having Fresno the site for the All-Cali meet. That place can be hell on earth during the summer months.
IMO, either SLO, or back to Pismo!

What about dates, anything that definitely doesn't work?
My preference would be 3rd or 4th Saturday in June or July, but definitely flexible

I'll take a stab at the date. College/HS probably wont get out until June 19th. Cant do it on July 4th. Only option left are June 27th, July 11th, July 18th, July 25th. By the way, just because a few people said they arent available for a particular date doesnt mean we cant have it. We are trying to get maximum attendance; if you cant make it, there's always next time. With that being said, I got a friend wedding on July 25th. I say July 18th.
We can banter the dates and location around for a bit longer. It would be nice to firm things up by late Feb. so we can secure/reserve the location of choice, start designing other elements of the meet: T-Shirt Design, ordering and production; competitions; food; license plate covers; line up sponsors; etc...

now that the date is set, we need to still find a location, i have been busy as hell. it would be nice if someone was familiar with the area, its just so hard to google a place and guess if it will accommodate everyone, but that's why i started this thread so early.
