In two days, I have never had so many people staring at this car, including Mercedes and BMW owners. Even my adult children love it, although they wonder if it's a bit bold for me. I reminded them that many years ago my very conservative Dad brought home a jet black Impala with an off white interior

ditto. earlier today, a few drivers gave me a thumbs up on this car
I don't see an answer to the question being asked in that link. Advanced Trim has Heated / Reverse gear tilt-down / Power folding features but don't see anything about auto dimming side mirrors.

Which is disappointing if true considering my 19 has it. I saw a link to a dealership that had it included as features of the car, but as the other person pointed out Acura doesn't list it as a feature. That's why I wanted to confirm with someone who has the advance package. I know the A-Spec doesn't have it

Yup - I'm right there with you. I was just pointing out that site didn't answer your question. It may have it and just not be listed on the site as I'm sure (?) they don't list every single feature.
I just looked at a local dealer and they have an Advance Trim inbound to them and in the Dealer Notes it does in fact list the auto diming side mirrors.

Yup. I have an oil change Saturday, I'll just look at one. I asked all of this as I'm curious if the type s will have it.
Had my new TLX ASpec for 3 weeks and I can say that I love so many things about this car:
I do like the Infotainment system and find the true touch pad to be quite easy and convenient to use. I am not a fan of leaning over to touch a screen in the right place, not to mention the fingerprints. The system is safer and better, IMHO.
The Sound system is amazing, as has been well documented. I often sit in my driveway when returning home, listening to tunes.
The seats are uber comfortable and attractive in the red/black combo.
The steering and overall handling are excellent, and the acceleration is plenty quick.
The exterior look with the Apex Blue iand the agressive body style is striking - this car looks even better in person than in pictures. Looks and positive comments everyday, including drive thru window folks.
I use Auto Stop in cinjunction with Brake Hold and find it very smooth.
I llike that the interior carpet covers the sills rather than having a scuffable hard covering.
Although I don'y have the Surround Camera with the front view that I had on my Elite 2018 ASpec, im very pleased with the larger clear view of the back-up camera.
The meaty two leather style steering wheel with the flat bottom is a joy to use and very sttactive!
Without over analyzing this vehicle, I simply enjoy getting behind the wheel and driving anywhere. I have set my Individual Mode to Sport Steering, normal Engine and Comfort suspension, with Auto Stop enabled.
If I could improve the ASpec Trim, I would love to have the Iconic Drive package, the HUD, and Heated rear seats, buy neither item will cause me to lose sleep. The attractive analogue gages with the 7inch digital diplay work very nicely for me.
Now that the specs on the Type S are out, I'm even happier that my A-Spec is not a huge dropoff from "big brother." Why Acura didn't fully deck out the Type S is beyond me. Probably to save for the MMC refresh...
So for the first 1500 miles or so, I was exclusively driving in some variant of Normal or Comfort mode and averaging 25-26 mpg w/Engine stop enabled. I decided to see the impact of what driving exclusively in Sport mode would be like on fuel economy.
IDS in Sport and transmission in "Drive": engine response not really there for me. My least favorite mode.
IDS in Sport and transmission in "Sport" (I'll call this Sport^2 instead of Sport+ since the Type S actually has this as a dedicated IDS mode): deeper revving response, which I like. Unfortunately, driving in this mode (w/the Engine stop disabled) gets just a bit more than 20 mpg. I can also visibly see the fuel gauge diminish much more quickly compared to Normal/Sport. It was so bad, it was almost like I had a leak in the gas tank!
In our small 15.9 gallon gas tank, that best case scenario - worst case scenario is a difference of ~90 additional miles = 4.5 more gallons required under "Sport" = $14.63 (@ $3.25/gallon for premium at local Costco)!
Anyone else see such a big difference in the drive modes?
Very nice! I thought you were going to go with the Accord Touring 2.0T. The red looks sweet!
Trust me , I came VERY close to getting this one today: Accord Touring.
But in the end, this red/black A-Spec is one of the sweetest looking TLXs I’ve ever seen. So, I ultimately returned to the Acura fold. Besides, I’m still struggling with the Accord X’s styling. Note: when this lease is up, the Type S is next up on my list.
Wifey loves this A-Spec so much, she gave our salesman marching orders to find her a matching MDX A-Spec.
On at least 2 occasions, I parked my car in a fairly empty lot and when I came back, I had other cars park in the spaces next to mine even though there were plenty of other spaces available.
Has this happened to any other others or is it just me? I think it's flattering but as an owner, it's kind of nerve-wracking as well!

No it happens a lot. I always look for a empty section of any lot. Get company way to often. Does not seem to matter what I am driving from the COBRA to the pickup. Guess they figure you will be careful of their cars.
At 284 miles i was running errands on a very rainy day. After the second stop, I started the car, put it into reverse and all the system warning lights started cycling through. First the brakes, collision mitigation, power steering, acceleration etc. I turned the car off. Waited 1-2 minutes, started the car and the same thing. I tried to drive it out of the parking out, but there was no acceleration. Parked it and waited 5 minutes. Started the car and the lights went off again, but I could accelerate. Drove it maybe 10 miles and lost acceleration. Stopped . Started and drove to a parked lot to have it towed. At the dealer, they pulled the codes. " temp low voltage code stored in VSA module." They checked it out. I drove it home. 40 miles later it happened again. The dealer has it now trying to re-create the scenario.
Sounds like potentially a bad battery or possibly a bad connection, especially with the low voltage code. Bad batteries are known to manifest themselves in all sorts of odd electrical symptoms.
