Look for my other posts in this thread I talked about this same issue a lot.
Basically some rub and some don't with that tire and offset, I happened to rub and so did others. I even had rolled fenders all around. I eventually had to buy 225/40 tires and then all my rubbing issues were solved. I rubbed on any big dips with the 235/40 tires it was super annoying. Go 225 or if you don't have brembos go with the other offset

Thread is absolute godsend - Will be picking up some 530s in flat black, 18x8.75 +20, will probably be wrapping in 225/40/18 Pilot Super Sports or Pilot Sport AS3s.
Any idea if Michelin is sufficiently low profile or if I should go with the Conti Extreme Contact DWs instead? The Super Sports have such a shining endorsement from so many people its definitely my "dream tire" at this point

225 is definitely the way to go if this thread is any indication - Also, 8.75 width is still within spec for 225, so if you have issues with the tires after a shop install, they can't just say you ran a setup outside of manufacturer spec or something of that sort

Also seeing as there has been some debate on the weight and I couldn't conclusively find the weight per wheel, I will definitely be weighing them for you guys

I'm glad to see so many ppl getting 1 of the best looking, if not the best looking, wheel for the 3rd gen Acura TL. I see many that look good, but it takes finesse to pick a wheel that promotes the TL without changing what it really is.. There may be more, but the XXR 530 is doing it well. It seems to take the Type-S wheel and step it up a notch..

Nice car.. looks good either way!! I think the best color of wheels depends on the color of your car. If you have a black car like mine, then the lighter ones would look better. The lighter ones provide more contrast on a black car.. But if you REALLY wanna know what I think... the lighter ones look better even on your car..... But its your car! and to each their own! IMO, all black wheels look the same... just black.. But on your car, it is more permissible because it is such a light color of a car.. And I do like the silver paint... (if it really matters what I think)
Meant to post this in here. Was told that the color varies a lot and just depends on who makes the batch when they go out. You can see a huge difference between my old chromium black ones on the car and my new chromium black ones in the picture. I actually like the darker ones so I already have them installed.

These Chromium blacks look a lot lighter.. But there is 1 Sun shot.. making it look lighter.. I like it lighter. I saw someone else in this thread with a black TL and chromium black wheels and it was not lowered.. But it doesn't look as good as this for some reason... And by the way, IMO the rims in this thread below stick out way to far on the rear..
