Thanks. That's what I wanted to hear/not hear.

Do you know someone who was hit by customs? UPS has been a hit/miss for me in the past. I will probably go with 1010tires as you advised though to be on the safe side.

This other store (tires23) is selling them for 1000 (taxes in).

I have stock height, no brembos, non-type-s body, did I pick wheels at the right offset for 18x8.75?

I should also go with 225/40/18?

Yeah two guys I know both were charged about $200. They ordered from nlmotoring.

You're going to poke with +20, especially the front at stock height.

I tried grabbing +33 for the front, but 1010tires is sold out and on back order.

225s will be fine. Tiny bit of stretch but it'll work great with +20 if you eventually lower

If I will be poking, will I need to roll fenders?

Should I go with wider tires like 235 or 245? I don't want to stretch.

You won't need to roll until you lower the car. Stock height you'll have plenty of clearance even if you poke.

235s is your best bet for a beefier tire. Pretty sure 245s will be way too beefy for any future plans of lowering on +20

OK. My brain is spinning, but here is what Im thinking.....
2007 TL Type S
Will lower slightly with H&R Sports 1.4 front 1.3 rear
XXR 530 18x8.75 +20 Chromium Black
235 40's or 225? Dont like stretch but dont want any rubbing and no fitment mods (is this realistic?)

My goal (besides new look) is to retain as much stock ride and comfort as possible, without any mods besides installing the springs.

Other questions: What are best looking lugs that wont scratch?
Are there Acura emblem hub caps for these wheels?
Last but not least, Im budget minded. What would be fair price for all of this?

Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.

$650-750 shipped (depending where you order) for the rims including the hub rings and lug nuts. Comes with xxr center caps. Tires will depend on the if summer or all season as well as what brand they are. likely will be another $500-700 shipped not including 4 TPMS which will go for another 200 or so for 4.

All together for a new rim/tire xxr setup (including mount/balance/alignement) you'relooking at around $1700-2000 give or take.

Need help! I have a set of xxr 530 19x8.75 +35 215 35 19 tires max out with Tein SA . I want to add 15mm Ichiba V2 spacers in the back to make them look flush. Going with Ichiba V2 I believe that the wheels will need open slots or cut outs in the back to accommodate the OEM studs that stick out past the spacer, right? However, these XXR 530 have 2 patterns which are 5x114.3 and 5x100. My question is that I'm fine with the V2 or I have to go with 15mm V1 spacers since the wheels do not have these open slots or cut outs in the back? Thanks for your help.

Check out h&r spacers, I think their nuts are countersunk and you don't need that space on the wheel for clearance

Meant to post this in here. Was told that the color varies a lot and just depends on who makes the batch when they go out. You can see a huge difference between my old chromium black ones on the car and my new chromium black ones in the picture. I actually like the darker ones so I already have them installed.

Agreed, but you can get them a bit cheaper if your looking to save some cash. I found the XXR's for $570 shipped, Falken All Seasons for $400 shipped, TPMS for $110 shipped and then $65 for mount and balance. So you could get them for under 1200, not the route Im going, but may be useful for someone on a tighter budget.

ok im a total noob when it comes to rims and fitment. I have a 05 tl base at and im looking at the xxr 530s in the 19 inch I already have a set of 235/35/19 tires. I don't know if I should go with +35 offset or the +15 which would fit without modification my car is not lowered and I don't plan on doing it. And do I need hub rings? I have no idea what those do...

agreed, i would have been pissed if i got darker ones, i think mine are already dark enough in the lighter shade haha. glad it worked out for you dan, welcome to the single drilled club!

makes you worry though if you have to order 1 replacement!

it's not so much the lug that rubs but the key for the lug.
a 24mm diameter key is ok, but a 26mm diameter key rubs (such as the key for the sr48 lug locks). not sure on 25mm

oh and can you imagine 23.78 INCH lugs like you stated...haha

I actually talked with xxr wheels and they switched factories middle of last year and the new factory can't match the lighter color so all chromium black wheels will be this color from now on.

So far I like them. Handle well in rain also. Haven't tried the snow/ice with them as I keep my car parked when that crap comes.
