Specs: Lowered on H&R RACE springs, no camber kit at all. Stock struts
XXR 530 - Chromium black
front - 18x8.75 +20 with 215/40 -1.5 camber (natural camber with no camber kit)
Rear - 18x9.75 +20 with 225/40 -3.0 camber (natural camber with no camber kit)

fenders rolled all around and slight pull to keep from rubbing in rear (I have a fender roller if anyone needs fenders rolled in PA/DE/NJ and sometimes VA. I live in DE on the PA border)

JJH are you running that setup with spacers? If so can you run the same setup without spacers and still clear brembos?

there was originally only +20 and +35 when they came out (when I was trying to buy the wheels). then they redesigned the +35 to +33

Soo....as some of you may know, I bought a 6MT KBP type-s. I'll be transferring over all of my mods best I can once I have some free time, including these wheels.

Is anyone running the 18x8.75 +20 with 225/40-18 tires on ~2" drop WITHOUT rollling fenders?

I'm rolled on my current type-s, but not too sure that it was entirely necessary. I am dropped on Koni Yellow sports + HR Sport Springs. Ground to fender clearance all around was somewhere in the 25-25.5" department.

Hi,

I'm interested in putting the Chromium black XXR 530's on my 08 TL type S. I currently have Chromed stock rims. Would anyone be able to tell me exactly what modifications are necessary for the wheels to fit?
I have heard from different people that I am going to have to have my fenders rolled and possibly have my tires stretched.

Any info would be appreciated

-thanks

^^ It depends on wheel off-set. wheel size, tire size, how low you want to go.

JJH I do not believe anyone is running the +20's and 225's that low without needing a roll. I think sockr1 is running the same setup.

JJH, pretty sure you will need to roll that low (2+). i had less of a drop (1.5" or so) but i had to roll all 4 because i got 235 tires (doh!)

my buddy has 18x8.75 +20 on his 08 base. im un sure of his tire size tho. his car is lowered about 2.5-3 inches. and he is not rolled... it rubs the front fenders pretty good and the rears only rub on big bumps.

in my humble opinion, if you even utter the word stance or flush...the roll is something that should be embraced and come first. No way around it...you like this look, you're rolling and getting skinny tires.

yup the front tires are all chewed up from the fenders while turning. the rears hit the fenders when he hits bumps. a simple roll would solve majority of it

I've been on this thread for awhile now because i have 530 rims sitting in my room for 2 weeks.
pretty much waiting for my tires to come in with camber kit and lug nuts.
planning on getting ingalls rear camber kit and muteki black sr48 with locks
what do you guys think about black aluminum black valve stem on gold?

here is a sneak preview what my car would look like with the 530s on.

pretty sure the lock nut key for the sr48 will scratch your rims (i did a lot of research when i got my 530s). there was a whole section in this thread on which lug locks fit and which don't. your only lock options are the spline locks with very thin wall keys or the hex locks. look up posts by me and jayvee in this thread

The 9.75+20 will fit with just a roll. I am running 10.5 + 30 with a 235 tire. No rubbing and a little poke
