I am about to pull the trigger on these but do not want to roll any fenders ...the size I want is 18 x 7.5..has anyone tried this size yet? I will also be putting on h& R sport wheels as well...will I have any rubbing issues with a 18 x 7.5 on 225/ 40/ 18 tires/ wheel combo?

thanks.. which sticks out less with H&R sport springs +33 or +20...new to all this and have read most of the posts but head is spinning. I do not want to do anything to my fenders and do a lot of driving and I need my tires to last

Meant to post this in here. Was told that the color varies a lot and just depends on who makes the batch when they go out. You can see a huge difference between my old chromium black ones on the car and my new chromium black ones in the picture. I actually like the darker ones so I already have them installed.

my tire shop told me not to go with 225, in fact, "stay away"..
I think I am going with 235/40/18. There are a ton of pot holes in the city where I live.
Why is 225 stretch so popular here?

I think my favorite color combos are that and Teal with the black rims. If it wasent so expensive to Powder coat my calipers I would have definitly done the same.

just paint them...i'm painting my calipers from white to teal this weekend. $7 for a can of high temp clear spray paint and $3 for a can of teal spray paint (well satin lagoon, like ebelp and rockstar)...going with the color change so it matches better with the project mu lug locks i just got

With 235/40/18 I cannot go much lower in the future? I am stock riding right now.
Stock tires are 17x8 with 235/45. The new wheels will be wider than stock, and 225 would be narrower than stock.
I am about to make my purchase.. so confused on what I wanna go with

Let's just say a local shop in Etobicoke, across from a popular bakery.

Just save yourself the hassle and get 225 tires

thanks for the information sockr1, I didn't know that and I most likely will be going for 225/40 now.
what's a good value tire? I am looking at Falken 453 or 452s, but I would consider other brands but don't know what else is good and cheapish. I am worried about paying for brand new tires that slip on wet roads and/or make a lot of noise.

Hankook V12 or the General tire that took the place of the UHP.
