Took the advice and went with 225. Good thing that my car isn't rubbing. Hence, my car isn't slam med and probably lowered with 2".

So my 04 center cap won't fit.

You have to use a heat gun to soften the clips

I wanna leave my TPMS in my old tires and get another set for the new 530's. Did you guys go with a generic aftermarket set or just stuck with the OEM TPMS? $160 $200 OEM TPMS seems a little much. :-/

I went with the OEM ones for $160. Figured it was worth it because having to take tires on and off is a pain in the ass if something were to go wrong with a crappy aftermarket brand.

Also, just a heads up that you may have to disconnect your battery once you install the new sensors for them to register correctly. Dont forget your radio codes!

Went with OEM after reading a ton of bad reviews on the aftermarket ones. I was lucky enough to find a used OEM set for $75 with new batteries. Ebay or the marketplace have them pop up from time to time.

so I always thought I'd buy aftermarket wheels after i paid the car off but geez.... I had NO idea these wheels were so affordable! I'm confident i have a size in mind but my conflict is color.... I did my stock wheels in a graphite color and i love the look so I know chromium will look great but seeing that they have the option of a matte bronze sounds real nice on WDP. I'm also considering the hyper silver too because I LOVE the design of the wheel. Any thoughts??

Hey guys. Just got some 530s. I will post glamour shots later. But I went with the 18x8.75 +20 on 225 tires. How low can I go without having rubbing (mainly when turning). I don't want to be in a sharp turn and hit a bump and it goes into the fender.

Man you helped me out tremendously. Sorry a I don't have and answer for your question but I'm going for the exact same wheel and tire combo but I need to know the same that you do. I don't want to destroy my fenders either...

I had this discussion with someone on a forum on facebook. because the dot isn't aligned with the inflation tube. They drive fine. I believe there are other deciding factors to the mounting.

I just went for it LOL. I have a good amount of clearance still. I dropped the front down a few. So now I have about a half finger gap from the tread. When I turn from bump stop to bump stop, I don't notice any rubbing. And still have room to deal with a bump. Our tires raise up when turning too so we are good bro!

In addition to the mounted skepticism,

After research, I saw: "Matching the dots is no substitute for balancing tire and wheel assemblies. What it does, however, is give you the best start, so you are more likely to use less total weight to bring an assembly into balance."

As well as: It is general mounting practice to line up the Yellow Dot with the Valve Stem.

The Yellow Dot marks the "lightest" area of the tire (determined at the factory machine with a balance machine), the valve stem would be extra weight added to the wheel therefore the two should offset each other, leading to less total balancing weight needed to balance the assembly to zero.

Again this is just a general procedure, match mounting or other factors may not have the two line up.

Hey guys random question. I tried searching but couldn't find a definite answer. If you are running a 225 tire on the 18x8.75 wheels, what tire pressure should you have? I know that when it is cold out the air pressure might be lower than when it is hot out due to air expanding. I am trying to figure out what "cold air" pressure i should set mine at. My Federal tires say maximum PSI of 44. Thanks!

I asked a similar question and no one got back to me haha. Discount tire told me to run 42 front and 39 rear cold so that's what I'm doing.

When I had 235 tires I ran 38 front and 35 rear cold

Recently got the wheels on and i'm liking it so far. I think it would look better with a slight more drop to it but can't do it with the aspec suspension. These are the 18.8.75 +20 wrapped on Yokohama S. Drive summer tires dropped on an aspec suspension.

Just about to pull the trigger on a set of XXR 530 Chromium Black wheels but had some questions before I did.

My TL: 04 NBP TL Auto (no brembos) lowered on coilovers ( Tein Street Basis)
My order is: XXR 530 Chromium Black 18x8.75 +20 offset , Tires: Nankang 225/40/18

Looking to lower by 1.5-2 inches - would this be the best offset and would I require any rolled fenders or front/rear camber kits?

Thank you!

you should be ok with 225 tires. Although, every car is different. You could always go +33 and most likely never run into any issues, but the +20 looks way better in my opinion. Much more aggressive/concave.

Best offset for concave and fitment? YES. Best offset without fenderwork? NO. You will be fine with natural camber and rolled fenders in the back. Front will be fine as is.

well, technically, 9.75 are the best for fitment, but I didn't feel like dealing with fender work and camber kits an such.

Looks good

If the rear can go a little lower- damn a-spec suspension

thought about it until I found out they don't make the 19 in single drilled. After more investigation on replicas i decided they weren't for me.
Went a different direction and got a set of Work rims

What does single drilled means? So Are you saying if I buy the 19's for my UA7, it wouldn't fit cause it's not single drilled?

Single drilled means there only 5 lug holes... If there not single they will have 10 holes. Both work.

I see I hope there's no difference in ride/quality between the two...
Btw so for the 19 XXR 530's Im going to get, the specs are 19x8.75 +15 and 19x10.75 +35 as they are staggered. What tires should I go for to get that nice even stretch but NO RUBBING? Would those specs also clear my brembos?

yea... im lowered and had to roll my rear with a 8.75" a 10.75 is going to smash the shyt out of your fender. lower it, go negative camber. and its possible

+15 sounds pretty aggressive. I have +20 and mine are flush/poking a little bit. I would imagine you will encounter some rubbing.
