NCSU TL... Looks like you've finally got the GT-S's mounted! What a long wait huh?! I was in Raleigh on Tuesday, ..thought about sending you a PM but never got around to it. Everytime i get on 440 i come across a 3rd gen TL...surprised i havent come across your TL yet. GT-S's look good on there...for some reason i thought you had a nighthawk black TL..stupid me.

Got 3 more quotes on GT-S
Talked to 3 more Volk dealers today about the Volk GT-S 19x8.5. ALL 3 didn't like the TPMS straps. Once again, this is NOT my opinion. These are places that do very high end cars. Only 1 of them drill a hole on the back side and install the TPMS, and this palce does ALL high end cars, he also said they have had problems with straps coming loose. Thats about 15 places I have called in the last month or so about Volk 2 piece wheels and straps. None of them liked the strap idea. OH WELL, I guess I will wait for somebody to tell me where you can have this done with a guarantee.
Volk GT-S 19x8.5 mounted, balanced, Toyo 1TR 245/35/19 with center caps, lugs, shipping. $3,250. Thats without any TPMS or straps. He said to not even get the sensors. Autohaus.com

jd, if u really like the work variazas but don't want to get them cus they're heavy look at iforged and dpe. they both make 19" forged rims with the 7 split spoke design - iforged has the daytonas and dpe makes the R07. iforged's price is lower but dpe's quality control is insane and the dpe's will probably be slightly lighter. both wheels will come in around 25 pounds or though i think dpe's will weigh maybe 1 or 2 pounds less. u can get lips on there but they won't be that big, but they will be polished lips nonetheless. they make a wide range of finishes at no extra cost.
of course, just the wheels are expensive but really, they wouldn't be any more expensive than the 4k u paid for the re30 package. i'm thinking about ordering some rivetless dpe's sometime down the road.

I sold my wheels due to no neck pains when I looked at them. And a few things I need to take care of. If I find something that SNAPS my neck, FITS my car, and I can FIND a place that installs TPMS STRAPS (if I get a 2 piece wheel that requires those pieces of shit) and I can get them in NO MORE then a month, THEN I WILL get another set. BUT in 19". I guess I will accept my car driving like a CEMENT truck. Another factor is getting a 19" tire that is good enough, weighs less then my 18" Pole Position re 050A's, which were 28#, TOO heavy.

So has anyone here ordered wheels from enduromotorsports.com? I got quote "$2355.00 shipped no tax with the center caps. No lug nuts."for 19x8.5 Volk TE-37's in a Bronze +43 offset. Sounds a bit too good to be true...
And I also got a quote from sixauto for $2,700.00 shipped...for the same wheel.

Update!
To let everyone know what's goin on...some of you who have read the thread know that i have Volk GT-S in gold with a C-Face and a +43 offset AND that it doesn't clear the front brembo calipers. I had to use 8mm (5mm + 3mm) spacers to clear it. Since it was Mackin who told the dealer who i got the rims from incorrectly on the proper offset and/or face of the wheel i should get...i got some custom made hub centric spacers from them for free...check it out...
10mm spacers so i get a TINY bit extra room. Basically if i got the B-Face with a +mid 30 offset, i should be okay. But because i didn't, these will have to do. comes with extended studs and also the center is HUB CENTRIC to the my volk wheels...no need to use a hub centric ring.
on the backside, it's 64.1mm to fit the centerbore of our car. and again, the center insert is 64.1mm on the backside, and 70 something on the front side to fit directly on to the volks.

As yall know I just put on a set of 19x8.5 Volk GTS's. I have since then installed some eibach springs and they lowered the car about an inch all around. I had it aligned right after I lowered it and the camber is off just by a little bit in the rear but everything else is fine up in the front and the toe is good all around.
After all that I thought everything would be fine and work perfectly. I have noticed one thing though when I get up to around 70 and higher it shakes pretty bad. Now I don't know if its the wheels or the suspension or a combo of both. I was just wondering if any of you had any ideas of what it is and if it will just take time to fix itself or if their is something I need to do to fix it. I have been looking into a camber kit but it seemed like alot of people don't think you need it.
I just wanted some of yalls opinion and if anyone else who has lowered their cars has had a problem like this what did yall do to fix it.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks.
And I'll post some more and better pics after the holiday.

u guys with vibration make sure 1) u have hubcentric rings and 2) are using the correct shaped lugs which i think should be acorn/cone for volks. if u are already doing those things then u need to see about getting the wheels rebalanced and check if the wheels are dented.

that doesn't sound like a "too good to be true" price, I got mine for $2400 for the same rims.

We could never lower our cars around here like that!
Do it and let's see them pics!
