I wish you would adopt...those dogs, just something about them...it's like they KNOW you saved them from death or a life on the streets. :

On one hand, I'd recommend picking up a 2 year old pup...already potty trained etc...on the other, if she's new to having a dog, I wouldn't wanna rob her of the experience of raising it and teaching it and nurturing it from when it's a little baby. I have a special bond with both mine...the street bish, Sunny...AND my "puppy" that I delivered myself, Annie (black one).

In general, lots of large breeds will potty train in a matter of weeks. Like holly, she's gone in the house about 5 times and that was it.

Avoid small dogs. They take a few years to fully mature mentally, while a large breed will be pretty set by 6 months. Much much much easier to train in general.

Hmmm...I think Cesar would disagree with you on that. I think that's more of a situational observation than an actual fact.

you've been an angry mofo lately...

The only reason I'd agree that small dogs MIGHT be harder to train is because they have napolean complex.

Say no more, Sean.
I know the vodka friend mighty well.

And I DO hope that things turn around for you in the near future. I'm about to start a pu**y for Sean fund. Don't get hateful...that's when it all collapses.

Nothing in life is perfect Sean, sometimes you've just gotta take a deep breath and keep moving. I'm sure we all could name a list of negative things that are currently going on with our lives.

Look at it this way, you have a job when millions are out of work, you work with cars, girls are still interested in you (ex's or not), and you still have a talent behind a camera lens.

Take a shot of liquor, grab the camera, and head outside

I have a gig next Saturday. Paid, finally.

Next Friday I'll get my first paycheck, should be close to a grand. Finally getting back on my feet. Thinking by mid October I'll be able to get a car again.

That was a great post though. I know I'm lucky, but I'm still a little upset I lost the old job. I was awesome at it, and made good money with full benefits. Sucks to be back at the bottom, when I had worked my way to the top (i could have taken tests and been a broker but biz wasn't strong enough to require it.)

Hooray for moola!

I hope you don't think I was trying to be a dick with that post. I tend to dwell on events that have happened in the past and I let them get to me more often than not.

I've been working bottom-of-the-barrel jobs ever since I was 16. Not terrible but not great either. Just continue to work hard and you can move onto bigger and better things in life. You never know when you will get a lucky break!

Who doesn't, man. That's the beauty of life...you go through it however you CHOOSE to. Focus on the good for the bad, nobody around you gives a fk. If you make it through with a smile on your face ALL benefit, but mainly YOU benefit.

Back on your feet...making a grand here and there and side gigs...then comes the car, which ends the "please pick me up to go out and have fun" FB updates, which makes you MUY appealing to the ladies, which boosts confidence, which brings more ladies, which boosts confidence, which brings better jobs, which makes more money, which brings better cars...

and all with a smile on your face...

J.

she's got a 'fuck dogs' complex. I don't think we got a chance to socialize her with other dogs enough when she was a puppy.

Networking...at bars of all places. I met and became friends with this tattoo artist (who did mine the other day) and he's hosting a raffle/event at this new bar. So he needed a photog, and decided to use me. He's a big 'favor' kinda guy as am I so it works out I think. We're helping each other equally.

The owners of said bar, and the manager, want to use me to further promote their bar, which has a weekly event called Fashion Fridays. People dress up and someone then 'wins' best dressed. Eventually there will be a calendar made of all the best dressed peeps.

BOOM. Locked that shit in
