if you notice, I don't really shoot anything that allows a tripod to be used.

the car ones, I was hanging out the window of an evo @ 20mph on that tiny ass road.

usually I'm moving as well.

I would love to use a tripod all teh time and shoot landscapes and stills, but I do a lot more action shots, than posed shots.

with a tripod, and coaching

You mean your sensor is dirty? What does that have to do with ISO? lol

Can't use a tripod when you're shooting a moving subject.

all my photos are already grainy and blurry from dirt, so I can't actually see much difference between the settings, in terms of noise. so I've just been waiting, then once I get it all cleaned up, I'll get into playing with settings more again.

sweet. that's good its only visible to me. I've been doing my best to clean it, but without the kit...freaking hard lol.

I've been avoiding certain types of photos because of all the light blurring and halos

Can't remember if you use CS or not...if so, try experimenting with the unsharp mask. It's an awesome tool.

That UPS man needs to get movin! In for wide angle shots! Sean, you're on track to having the same photo setup as me. You just need an 80-200/2.8 and a 35/1.8.

IT'S HERE!!!!!

and this one is def my favorite so far. well, idk the flower one is sweet too.

okay, now these are from yesterday.

Now. I want to say something really quick, and it's gonna get a little...ghey. Having said that...

Thanks to all of you regular lurkers, commenters, and supporters of me. You guys really pushed me to get out there and do more with photography, and (since you fellas know how much saying this next part means to me) I haven't been happier in a long ass time. I feel great, I'm loving what I'm doing, and everyone seems to love my 'work', if you can call it that, more and more everytime I go out shooting.

So, here's to you guys! You did me a huge favor!

Brought all my gear to work, took the train today. So, here's a few of the more famous buildings I see on *one* of my potential routes.

This is my building, the Chicago Board of Trade

this is the courtyard between the 'new' and 'old' buildings. (its a little too dark, I know)

somebody was late as fk to work today!
Great shots, Sean...seriously. And the part about being super happy...I don't know the backround to that, but as one previously "glass half empty" kinda guy to another. I'm very happy to know you're smiling. You're a great guy.

J.

PS...the flag one, and the Sears tower...wow.
