Look at dat booty doeeeeeee.

Sean I'm prety harsh on myself about photography as well. I think it's because we know what we want the shot to look like and we rarely get it. Other people see the picture for what we DID get and we are complimented for it.

That's one thing I don't get to critical on. I've always loved people watching, probably my most active 'hobby'...that stuff is super easy for me

thanks though guys.

anil, I'll have to upload them later. I'll show you fools eventually though, no worries. I'm really proud of a few of them.

Tyler, you are spot on. the workshop did help A LOT. Everytime I take out the camera and start, they are better each time and getting closer to what I'm imagining. Also, it's really cool that now I know how to get my contrast right without editing.

It sucks since picnik closed, it was a great place to do small touch ups and 'create' some filters for the hipster style shit...but i'm actually really glad it did. I can't use it as a handicap anymore...and its really pushed me to work on the true craft I'm trying to perfect..

yeah I feel I should clarify.

for editing a really nice DSLR photo, its just not gonna do me any favors...it'll actually hurt me.

using it on say, a 5-7 MP camera it's not gonna 'ruin' it.

I like the new car pack for FM4

this one has ~900hp already, lol

stock engine in the beetle. but the thing does 1.1g's as a benchmark

lot of fun to drive. Tyler says his is an S-class, but mine has the stock motor and is a ~493 B-class

man I wish I could take the cars from forza in real life, and go shoot those. Even though they let you do some cool photo shit, I would LOVE to use my IRL skills on the beauties

no 360? it's much better than GT5 imho. a lot more realistic. in GT you just seem to slide everywhere even with slicks and racecars

I bougth my ps3 first, since I wanted the bluray...my parents were doing a mini theater in the basement (our first thin screen tv too!) and I wanted to help out with it. GT5 prologue was with it...wasn't even fun.

went out and got my 360 about 6 months later (trust me, earliest I could afford it) just to have FM3 (it was only like 6 months old then) and I have not regretted it one instant. I don't even buy games for my ps3 anymore (plus most of them were stolen from me by some 'friends).

I don't think you would either.

oh, I gotcha. the beetle and mg are super fun, great handlers. those are the cars I like...I don't get the big power cars anymore...I mean...honestly I have not even driven the venom since the first day lol.

also, I made said comment because I always check my lap times with the AZNE group, and it always shows your times with most of the assists on

The AWD cars I can deal with but in the heat of racing slamming full throttle hurts me, it just spins the tires way too much, same with brakes, I'd be screwed if I turned ABS off.

All of my assists are off except ABS. Tyler said no ABS is easier to handle than it was in FM2 and FM3. I have yet to try it though.

its just like real life. You can't just slam the 'pedal' to the floor, you'll lock up. you have to ease on.

theres plenty of S-class cars I have that I can use 100% full brakes and I don't use abs.

same with the accelerator. plus, sounds like you need to do wayyyyyyyyyy MOAR tuning. the stock tunes have 1-3% too much brake bias to the rear, so even if I don't change that its a pain in the dick and locks up all the time.

its all practice to be honest. and what tyler is saying is right. the tires have a LOT more grip in FM4 compared to 1-3, so you can get on the brakes so much more aggressively

you don't live in an area with 2-300 lb deers roaming all night.

Normal people call this panic braking.

just for safety, go out and try. you NEED to know how your car will react. I never tested my TL, and that's why it's totaled. I wasn't expecting the back to get unstable like that.

see that's exactly why you should be prepared. that means he over-braked, just like in FM4!!!

I didn't test it, and I did the same. Plus, I've said it before, but fuck the ABS system on this car.

It's a normal reaction to slam on the brakes when you're about to hit someone doing 50...

Idk if you're some kind of Stig with nerves of steel or what...

I know it is, but all cars have a little twitch I'd call it, and I wasn't prepared for said twitch, which ended with me in the ditch, then the air!

I know. He kept driving too close, and bouncing back and forth in speed. No sun either, so they alllllll came out pretty blurry which is sad.

I'm trying to give him a taste so he will stop slacking and have me do a legit shoot for him.

Don't be afraid to use ISO 1600 or even 3200 on the D90...it handles noise wonderfully. Not sure what lens you were using, but if you use the 50 prime wide open and ISO 1600, you can shoot in a dark room at 1/50" shutter and have a perfectly exposed photo. D90 FTMFW. Remember, a noisy shot is better than a blurry shot. Noise can be corrected, blur can't...

yup yup. I have bumped it up when I was 'testing the limits' I guess. I know I didn't change it from when I was out in the direct sunlight though, so I know that didn't help.

I haven't been playing with the ISO too much. mostly because my body is dirty as fuck. it's never been cleaned and is 4 years old I think..

ordered a cleaning kit yesterday though!

High ISO makes me want to shoot myself.

They made tripods for a reason...
