Damn Veggie, that thing is totaled. Glad you are okay though. A TL can be replaced.

Woah, that looks way worse than I originally thought. Are those the tires I sent you? I can see they're the same model tire, but the ones in the pic look like they have more meat...

dude i agree with Jeremy....
go to your car and pop anything and everything you can which is in good shape....headlights/bulbs/all season floor mats/trunk tray/rims + Tires/ anything which you can sell on the BM and make some $$$ out of.....
sorry to see your loss buddy but in all seriousness am kinda glad this happened....seemed like the car was sucking your pockets dry and seemed like a death trap....everytime something happened and you got it fixed, something else happened and not simple shit like a bulb going out but an accident.....
someone up there likes you and wants you to be here longer.....
about a new car....dont cave into the temptation....look at your budget and your monthly financials and buy a car which wont put you in another financial hole....sure all of us want a freaking GTR or a Viper and i bet many on here can afford it too if they pull every penny together but hey the you will adapt to fit into the car which shudnt be the case.....

If everything went well like I hope, I will be making a shitload more within 2 years time, or I could be unemployed. So, this is a potentially easy out of my loan, a way to get some cash back, and get my photo game more proper all in one go.
Then I could have basically a >$400 monthly swing without payment and insurance like that.
It would be the smartest move.

To get really serious here...I'm thinking of going car less, saving money, buying a MacBook, photoshop, and then work on getting a 2-3k beater.

let not happen to the next car what happened with your Audi....learn and live.....
i say you are bang on target with getting a 2-3K beater....i know it will be tough going from an audi to acura to a beater but trust me man....in the longer run you will save a ton more $$$ and will get the car of your dreams.....

I've also been putting off saving, and the way cars have been going, I'll be in loans forever lol.
On top of that, there's nothing saying I can't have fun in a beater. Not worrying about the condition of it constantly, will be a big relief in itself.

UPDATE: Car is TOTALED
10,418.75
165k miles, no nav, 6mt TL
that's literally right between the two ads for Navi equipped cars I saved for my mileage bracket. I'm happy with that.
basically, I owned the car for a year and a half, and only paid about $500 to own it, minus getting parts and stuff and insurance premiums, etc etc.
I'm def happy.

When It's time for another daily, and like I said, if everything goes well business wise (both fronts honestly) I would seriously get another TL...once a toy was also in the works lol.
It was a great car to own, despite my head constantly being in the clouds lol.

Sean, i doubt you can take stuff from the inside and start selling it.....
i think you can take out any additional accessory that you have installed like after market stereo/sub/amp/rims/headlight (read AFTERMARKET).....again this is what am assuming so dont quote me on it....
finally, i think the CRX is a good deal i would not pay 3300 for it but i would pay close to 3000....try to negotiate

So I'm pricing up a macbook pro, 2.8gHz, 8gb ram, cs6/lightroom 4, and that will pretty much eat up ALL the money I get to keep from insurance. So I'll be carless for awhile now I guess!

The discount is only $100 unfortunately. Are you going with a laptop? And what size screen did you price out? A MBP with all the is gonna be A LOT. I piad $1500 for a 13" MBP, 4GB RAM, 2.3GHz Intel Core i5, and the programs were Microsoft (the whole suite) and I think iWork. Then I added the 3 year protection plan, another $250, making it around $1700.

Sounds good, but new Macbook Pros are expected to be released at some point soon. Not sure how long you're willing to wait or if that matters.

if you weren't happy with a 200 hp FWD car, what makes you think you'll be happy with an 80hp one?!?! Why not keep looking for your RWD beater?!?! Old 1986 corolla or something/! I had an 87...RWD and carb'd...fk, i wish I wouldn't have sold that baby...that was my 2nd car and I could have made that bish a badboy for drifting right about now.
