More proof that you should never swerve to miss deer unless you have like 4 empty lanes around you. If you hadn't swerved, you probably would've ended up much better off (but not the deer). Anyway, hindsight is 20/20...glad you're okay. Sounds like you're in good spirits and looking towards the future.

If I was in the market, to be totally honest...RWD and decent POSSIBlE gas mileage would be my TOP priorities.

370 MAYBE. 350s are trash imo.

I wouldn't own either though. Gearboxes suck, interior build quality suck, etc. Like the design though.

Just gotta keep looking! Look for the guy who has a kid on the way and needs a 4 door/SUV and is in a hurry to sell it.

the seats are super hard...and i remember them having big time alignment issues...
like, impossible to NOT eat up tires. Might have been the earlier 50's.

Idk, guy I know in NC drives a newer 370Z and he says it eat his tires up too, could be from the mountain roads and he drives it pretty spirited, plus sporty tires.

to G35.

While the VQ engines are awesome, the interiors are trash. My dad has a 05 G35x sedan and while it's a blast to drive, I try to keep my eyes fixed on the road so I don't have to look at the nasty, lumpy dash

Sean I think you should get on Craigslist and try to find something totally different and off the wall. I would love to get my hands on a 40s or 50s Chevy coupe. They can be had for rather cheap and the aftermarket parts base is almost infinite. I'm just not sure how great of a DD it would be

interesting, I know nothing about these....care to elaborate?

Tyler, trust me an old chevy is on the bucket list, but not quite yet. I'll need something more reliable and more of a guarentee.

Plus, those old sedans and coupes have 30-45 gallon tanks, I can't even afford a full tank lmao, and you KNOW it would need filling far more than the TL even with a bigger tank.

But still, I would love to have a 57 Bel-Air with a 95ish lt1 'vette motor and auto trans. that would be a perfect old car IMO.

but still, that's a project, more than a quick daily.

And yeah Tyler, the interior on the G35's is what has kept me away, but which is also why I've looked into 350's, if its gonna have a crappy interior, might as well be light too!

But idk. We'll see what happens with insurance. Until then I'm not even thinking/looking about cars.
