LOL, sorry for the confusion I meant to say that Tyler doesn't get upset that i'm going to blow up Jeremy's thread.
But fuck it, I'll just throw a party in here as well. No worries.

Gave the car a little love today:
1 fixed the outer rear window weatherstrip that was falling apart. For now, I just used gorilla tape to hold in place so it doesn't let the sticky rubber leave residue on the window anymore. Temp fix...
2 found the "rattle" noise I'd been hearing under the car...turns out I had a broken hose clamp on one of my jpipe slides. Easy fix.
3 found the rear suspension squeak that was getting increasingly annoying for me. I'm due for an alignment anyway, so I decided I'd troubleshoot and raise up. Originally I thought it was the bushings for the sway bar...but disconnected it and it was still there. Then I realized it was the rear driver side shock making the noise. FK...thought it was blown but absolutely NO oil anywhere.
Kept digging and it turns out that when maxed, the spring doesn't sit firmly in the tophat rubber...so when lowering the car you have to squeeze your arm in there and hold the spring in place. On the driver side, it had shifted allowing the creaking noise. ANNOYING. So to combat that and scraping my jpipe everywhere and my car being relatively rough when I have another 100 pounds or more in the car, I raise it up a bit. I am due for an alignment anyway. So I went from 3/8" of an inch rear to 3/4" and from maxed on the front to 5/8".
it's funny how the lowering sickness gnaws at your mind knowing you're not as low as you can be, but honestly, it still looks great and it's still got no wheel gap.
J.
Shooting a black on black car in a garage during the day is HARD! Sooo hard to get the exposure right!

Awesome pictures, J.![Clap](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/clap.gif)
If you were a bit more inclined in Photoshop I'd show you how to bracket and put 3 or more photos together but...maybe a different day

Mother of god your car is clean. Not only is shooting a black car in a shaded garage hard, but you had a lot of dynamic range since it was sunny in the background. Regardless, pics came out clean and really show off some nice reflections that make your car look wet. I love how your lugs glow in these shots.

Pretty much but it won't give the ugly, fake look of HDR's. You basically snap 2 or more shots of different exposure, line them up in PS, then delete areas of blown out bright spots, ect.
I like the new avi too.![Cool](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
Oh and ride height! I like it, makes me feel my car is okay
cause your car looks super low in the back. Draggin dat ass.

Do you have any examples of that that you've shot? I'd like to see it! I like HDR, btw. ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Actually, front/rear are exactly the same amount of tire to fender now. Don't get mad, but even at "offroading" height, I'm pretty sure I'm still lower than you!

Actually it's much less complicated than that. PS has an "HDR merge" feature where you can load in as many exposures of the same photo and it'll do all the work for you.

Every time I see those blue rings in your headlights, I feel unthinkable feelings. ![Drool](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/drool.gif)
Love how they match the lugs too. And the silver caliper covers. And the switchbacks. And the spoiler. I think yours is the only 3G that I've seen that pulls it off well.
Too much win!

I still love you though...
My ALMOST twin!
Thank you, man...we'll to be honest, the car drives nice and smooth, going into that mall ramp today, before I would have left my jpipe on the ground...didn't even scrape today. We'll see...I never say never cause I know I change my mind so much! ![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
Thanks, John...great to know...the easier the better...I have a hard enough time trying to figure out how to take manual photos!
Gracias, amigo!
The hard way, huh!? Well, honestly, it's good to learn theory in case you ever need it. That's why I keep an abacus in my closet in case my texas instruments TI 9000 ever takes a shit. ![Too Cool](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/toocool.gif)

Yeah it's amazing just by raising the car up a tiny bit how much more clearance you get.
I'm nowhere near as low as you and when I drive around sometimes I cringe when I think I'm going to hit a dip or something of that nature. I can't even imagine how you must feel driving around that low and trying to get in and out of entrances/exits even doing under 5mph.
I'm glad to hear that aren't tearing up the bottom of your car though!
