Yepp I get you, totally. That's the big reason I can't stop driving the car.
I drove many many cars, I feel so easy to compare them with TL right now.
At the end I say TL is the car again.

You feel the shape, edges of the car while you drive, I mean you have to..
Or the interior, I mean you can't explain those feeling but
a person knows about driving knows it..

2 years ago, at car wash, I was drying my car, one old man pulled behind me and was cleaning the rims + drying..detailing
He had e46 330i zhp
I knew this guy knows about cars...old man with zhp and detailing it
I talked to him, first thing he told me was, "take care of this car... best car and best design Japan did on a vehicle. I drove it before and I know how the feeling is"

I said yeah, and remind me of my dads Alfa 156 in 1999...that car with that design saved the Alfa in Europe. My dad still misses the car, the tone of the engine

as I said the tone of the engine, he said... exactly haha
He was French, his last car there was 156, he said I still miss that tone of the engine.

These Alfa guys knows it and it's the biggest reason they can't sell their car even though it's a car that has the most problems.
My dad was having a lot problems with it, last thing service manager told him was, you have to get used to it, people drive this car for fun...

He couldn't sell it. Kept driving it until we moved here at 2001

anyways...
Nothing is like this TL to me now, feeling of that pedal... Audi doesn't have that
Even auto on TL..best auto to me
I can't imagine driving your TL
Mine is stock and look what I feel and AUTO
Awesome story, brother. Yeah, funny enough, my father says the same thing. He's swiss and he had MG's and Triumphs growing up and he always says my car sounds AWESOME, that it has something classic about it that reminds him of the sports cars he grew up with. The 3G really is a special car.

Getting out of HHGregg yesterday (bought a TV)...the sales manager comes out and compliments the car...he says he used to sell Acura's and he's sure the sales floor would LOVE to have my car to show off what it could look like. Felt nice!

Happy driving!

Really? Have you been to Switzerland or other Europe countries before?
I love Switzerland, a place to live. That's it
I hear that about MG too, had so many fans..real fans
Well, in Istanbul we had Rover mostly but same thing.

Telling you, person that knows what a car is knows 3G is one of a kind.
That was the reason why my dad didn't sell the TL too.
bought the TL at May 06, next year got E320 and kept the TL for me for a year because I was in High School
But I first bought MK4 sold it with the same price I bought it
Always wanted that as my first car.. golf man!! European thing
So got the TL as college started.

That's hot haha
You should do that, do you know anyone at the dealer?
Here show off my car during winter, give me a loan AWD TL

I always waited for them to do a limited edition of 04-06 TL but nicely modded and much faster one... sh-AWD too
May be after 10 years

LOL...yeah right...I love driving MINE too much!
Actually, I was born in Lausanne. Other than being rather closed minded to being "different" and not following their "rules"...I think it would be a lovely place to live. My sister moved back there 4 years ago...I'm jealous of the pictures she sends me.

Similar backrounds, more or less.

Switzerland is the most beautiful country I've ever been to. I'm biased, but honestly...it's true. It's like walking around in a wall painting.

You guys are thinking differently
Don't think like its US

You live in Switzerland with your Audi RS6
You ski, have fun driving the car around the hills
+ I love that kind of environment

anyways the key is
you goto Paris in 4 hours
you goto Stuttgart or Milan in 2 hours

Don't think like you stuck in that place forever, Europe is too small + you love to drive and travel too
Unlike here trees on the sides, straight highways for miles and miles
You travel hundreds of miles and you feel like you are in same place where you took of

I don't remmmeber Europe toooooo well, I was young
After we moved here, All we did was FL, LA, TX, IN, IL, NV + All New England, DC to top

I like visiting friends and family back in NY, and going into the city to hang out. But I couldnt move back there. I'd need to make at least twice what Im making here in Richmond to live comfortably in NY. Plus taxes suck, roads suck, winter sucks, cops suck, gas prices suck, house values suck.......the list of cons is much longer then the pros for me.

I was in NY for 1.5 years while doing my Masters....love the town....love the fast lifestyle....grew up in Bombay which is (dont kill me) faster than NY....

the wifey and I sat down to make a list of places we would like to settle down in....and Kansas came on top with earnings/home prices/cost of living....other options were Calif (aunt lives there) and VA (brother in law lives there) and Denver (work is there)....

midwest i feel is one of the good places to settle down in....lots of place, low cost of living, not as heavily populated and great schools....

This is all true. A tell-tale sign to how good things are in a community/city is professional athletes. If they stay in a city after their playing career is over, it bodes well for your city.

You must not be talking about your TL...I know you don't carry a toolbox on the TL diet! I've never been that lucky...every nail I've found in the tires of all my past cars has resulted in an eventual need for a plug.

Now I want plums

Actual plums, not Top Gear plums.

Blue accents... I really don't know how you pull it off, but you do so amazingly. Didn't notice the valve stem at first. Details FTMFW.
