What! When did you go back to the blacked out heads?

And the bulbs look cool I'm just trying to figure out what exactly they are. Great price too.

Thanks for the link Jeremy, I just placed an order on them (First time buying from Amazon.com too).

I'm going to have to do a comparison shot of these with my 120 SMT LEDs.

Do you remember if these are brighter than your 120 LED switchbacks?

Plasma LEDs

http://www.jlclightings.com/Plasma-L...lbs-s/1083.htm similar to these!

I'm waiting on COB LED's that should be pretty damn good too

I have a MINI update...I finally found the LED 7443 bulb to end ALL 7443 bulbs...it's new technology called plasma LED. I had a terrible go at finding a BRIGHT amber led bulb that worked properly, that was bright both as a parking light and as a low beam and signal that didn't get so hot it desoldered the board.

These are awesome!

^Yea but I'm trying to figure out the technology. What makes a plasma LED different then a regular LED? I can't find anything except companies selling the bulbs.

J, what did you find?

Honestly, nothing...it's probably a misuse of led. I think they run a diode across a puddle of plasma juice?

Look my orange upper fogs has the same kind of led too
Front lens is glass and has only one led
but sides are different, plus it's not glass, it's like a plastic clear cover on top of it

Those leds are so small. Dunno what's behind

Ooooo hehe

I wish I told Faruk to take out that nipple thingy in front of my fog
That's one thing I don't like
And other one is my darkshaded signals. Tritons would be way more brighter

The intensity of that bulb shooting into that reflector and back into the bowl is brighter than looking directly at it.

So...ac started blowing hot air. Must have a small r134 leak somewhere, it was low. I charged it up to "normal" on the gauge and it's been cold 2 days.

Also, made these for a friend...should be on his car at some point in the next 2 weeks.

That's the point I was waiting to hear.

I am positive in overall view, those are brighter than tritons.
Well, I mean looks more suitable for our headlight.
From looking at it directly, triton might be brighter since has 3 leds, but if the point is the visual look of the headlight, that plasma thing would do better. That was my thought, from what I saw changing to tritons..

Jeremy,

When you black out your headlights
Do you black out the signal area as well?
The section that continues on after the signal reflector?
Or do you paint it to silver, so signal light reflects better

I think mine is blacked out, that's what Faruk does always... as I've seen from the pictures

Thank you, boys...

Meko, I don't black out anything on the signal area. On both sets of my tails I have type s diffusers and I only black out the amber reflector on the edges. If you're wondering if your signal light should be visible all the way to the outer edge of the headlight, no, it shouldn't...even on a totally stock amber base head, the lighting isn't visible UNDER the reflector.

Honestly boys, I really appreciate those compliments.

I haven't thought to do that because Betty would skin me alive if I started doing MORE car stuff. Plus, it's just a small hobby and helping a few friends out here and there for beer (keg) money. I actually had these kinda FORCED on me by a close friend that had some issues with a previous set made by someone else (NOT a vendor).

I guess another small update is that my aspecs are back on...I actually love the look, if I'd never been on AZ I don't think I'd ever have gotten wheels. There are a few days in transition where I won't be able to park in the garage so I didn't want to risk the advans.

Although I'm sure you do most of the work yourself (which is awesome); there's a local tuner shop not to far from you that I could recommend; they do all the work on my car.

If I even so much as pop the hood in my garage, I'll get a letter from the association ... one of the perks of owning a home right?

As always, big fan of your car dude!
