I will, Tyler. Funny you mention that, man. Now that it's been a few days of my normal commute I'm convinced that I DID change the sound slightly. I'm guessing the sound coming out of the inner 2 dump tips are bouncing off the ground and back under the car. When I had NO tips for a day (waiting for the guy to order the tips for me) OMG, inside the cabin was LOUD and DRONEY. Now, it's absolutely perfect, same tone, but slightly louder from the driver seat.

Something like that. Honestly, as they cut them off, it felt like serious blasphemy...but after telling the guy I was NOT willing to lose those gorgeous mufflers, and the small tips were gone, I was okay with it.

Well, after a 4 month debacle and then receiving the wrong color center caps, the correct ones arrived. And I could NOT be happier. Vivid did right by me, they had a guy, Aaron...handle my complaint...he took the time to call me and apologize and even texted me pictures of the 2 other colors so I could be certain I'd be happy with them, and then follow up emailed me and shipped them 2 day fedex with RMA and return label to send the old ones back.

The black ones looked TERRIBLE, no definition in the center of the wheel and just blended in, no thanks. Plus, with as much money as I paid for them, I wanted to get what I asked for. The silverish ones are the HYPERBLACK and BLACK is black. He also only had the "Flat" one in stock (even though they're not TRULY flat) which was good because I ALSO didn't like how raised up the black ones ended up being.

They'll go on this weekend!
J.

I am...I could have it done in 10 minutes, but after such a long time building anticipation it would feel like a premature ejaculattion to just slap em on on some random Thursday night. I'll make it a whole affair, clean the car...clean the rims, put them on. Take pictures...

LULz, that's actually in my planner, believe it or not. Maybe I'll do another video in a parking lot like I did last time, you could hear the exhaust pretty well in that one.

Well, after my 2 speeding tickets going nearly 100 and reckless driving last year, I've managed to keep it at a steady 85 or below. Speed limit on my daily commute is 70.

When I met up with J in December 2011, I was driving to his place doing almost 100 in the left lane and I was being passed by cars to the right of me. Needless to say, I got in the far right lane and stayed there

I remember driving back and was doing 90 and am pretty sure wasnt "speeding"

and people on the east coast generally drive fast....I remember driving from Boston to NY on i-95S (back in 2006) and damn, i was doing 100 through out

I agree but I've yet to come across any drivers quite as fast as Floridians. Especially on 75 or 95. Semi's go over 100 on 95 like it's nothing. Lol

Just a suggestion, probably a good idea to remove your pic with your name, cell phone and address from the return label.

Don't want someone to use that info against you.

^Who ships stuff to home anyway? I always ship to work.

Although I assume they just drop it off at the office in your gated community?

Also, there was a time I guessed your location. And I guessed SCARILY close.

Good catch, actually, I SHOULD ship to work since they require signature confirmation. I had it routed to Fedex to pick up.

I deleted the picture. Thank you!

That's retarded, if the person deletes the photobucket and it kills the link it should pull the photo immediately.

yeah the browser saves images/etc so when you reload the page its quicker....

I would edit the post and remove the link....that way no more link to the deleted image....

if the link is there and you deleted the pic on pb/flickr, it will still show up unless EVERYONE browsing deletes there () cache

Not exactly. It will eventually cycle out because of webhost settings.

It went away for me already and I haven't cleared any cache.

Granted, if I dug through some system folders I could probably find the actual image.

Edit: And just like that it's back. Wtf?

I'm not disagreeing with you, Anil. Just that it depends on a LOT of different settings both on this web server, vBulletin, end users browser, etc.
