When I was testing the 07 Type-S MT, asked them to find out a trade value for my TL.
They said 7700 with reducing the price because of the car being modded.
Modded car makes us think a kid drives it and doesn't know how to take care of the car
Son of a bitch made me feel like those civic guys modding their cars from autozone

The problem is that we ate the minority. Most people that mod cars are completely retarded and don't know the difference between a base or a type s or even another manufacturer. I may be taking it a bit far but the bigger issue is that most people don'tgive a shit.

Wohoo watching it now
Hahahaha is there any turn you took slowly? Can't take off from the pedal at turns huh
Video usually shows the driving slow but even on the video it looks pretty fast at turns haha
Is that the tone of the exhaust? Kind of rumbling, I like it
Downshifts were loud too I guess?
Bass does kick well on that stereo
God, car sounds damn nice after 1:39
Thanks bro I owe you I owe you a M3 with Akrapovic Exhaust... give me a week or so

Steven, barring the sunroof not opening...there isn't anything I don't LOVE about this car.
Meeks, thanks man...for sure! Akrapovic isn't just for motorcycles? Yeah man...she's AWD, I knew I could take the turns at whatever speed. I did all that just for YOUS!

What's interesting is that the dealership wanted my car badly...as is. He said they see a lot of modified cars, but often times not done well. He seemed like he wanted it with everything on there.

...the more I play with payment calculators the more I just need that thing out of my driveway. The second it's gone, is the second I can just put my focus back on being happy with my 10 year old, but paid off Acura TL. Fk that...I'll take it as a learning opportunity for what I want at some point in the future. German, AWD are on the table now...
Although after Steven's update, American muscle turned exotic might also be on the table. I have such expensive taste.

I have champagne taste on a beer budget
I've been looking at Audis for about an hour now but it's hard to justify parting out the car and taking on another car payment.

Dude, it's more than just "another car payment". His LEASE is friggin $701 a month. Even with a hefty down payment and selling the TL to bring the $52K asking down...wtf...payment of $650-800. I just can't...my head just doesn't wrap around a number like that on a car. It's a car. I mean, it's amazing, it really is. But my TL is still fun to drive and pretty etc. I mean, gotta make the best of it, right?

For that, might as well get an exotic; know what I mean?
I've been lurking the RS4 threads as we may end up in one; used of course.
I hear ya with the AWD.... Just plan sick!

I see decent milage 2010s go for ~32k around here. Or even a year or two old for ~$42-45k. Not too bad really.
But the new new headlights and the sc v6 tho? I don't know if a 2010 would cut it... Lol

Make your friend transfer the lease to you
It's already a leased car, price sure will be lower to start off from.. no?
Or finance the car as it is right now. Talk to them I don't know...
I don't know much about lease but, If I was buying an S5, there has to be at least $7k of difference between a brand new one and a leased one that has like 5-10k miles on.
They could think that for a person that will be paying+$50k for a car, couple thousand is not that important to buy a brand new one instead of a leased one.... soooooooooo to get rid of the blue one your friend has, they might give you a good price
Try
52 to 46 let's say, put 3k down, trade the TL for 6k
$37k
Divede that to 6 yrs.... $520 per month
And how the heck is he paying $701 for a lease, friend pays $800 for a 2013 M3 with Competition Pckg and he ordered it from Germany
M3 is like 20k more than a S5

you guys are too much...
Well, here are the facts. We got movement on our house and will be moving out in the next few months, so the costs associated with that sort of thing, of course...and Betty just bought the Cadillac SRX and although after trade in and her Dad's incentives she financed 30K, it was still a 50K car purchased this year. We'll pay that off and I'll get my next upgrade in 4 or 5 years from now.
Took the TL out Saturday and yesterday and to be honest...I still love her very very much. She's my baby. She tight shifting and short clutch travel, I have no problem driving it.
OH, and dumb me assumes V6T on the front fender meant it was turbo'd...as Chad alluded to though, it's a supercharger. No lag...and although it has 20 less HP than the V8 4.2L...guess what?!? It has 354 ft/lb torque...no wonder it puts your azz in the seat! Same torque as the V8.

Yea I have to imagine that the NA V8 isn't as tunable as the blown v6. The problem is the v6 only came in the cabriolet until the facelift in what, 2011, 12? Not exactly sure. But the cab is too damn heavy.
Yea the v6 numbers all peak much lower then the v8 too. Which I believe has a redline of like 8200rpm or something insane!
I still think a 335 is/can be more of a performer then the S5 in the end. But they aren't near as sexy.

Aside from the roof not opening, I find NOTHING wrong with this S5. I could be VERY happy with it for a very long time. The more I drive it the more I notice the little intricacies that are tailored to make a great driving experience. Don't quote me, but I could swear that even when not holding the brake and sitting in neutral, the car seems to hold itself in place. The little buttons feel solid, the feel of it is very CONNECTED to the road but then nothing is harsh, which is odd...steering is tight at speed but not scary or twitchy. Brakes stop on a dime...
I would love to drive a M3 or 335 for a week to compare.

2013 335 with M-Pckg with an amazing exhaust and AWD as well, didn't make me talk about even one thing you mentioned about S5.
You saw me, im like 5' 10 and i felt interior was sooo small compared to Audis. Plus it makes you feel like car is going to pull crazy, but doesnt.
315 hp and torque is also not much as V6T. So skip 335 for sure. Because even in a M3, interior will not feel good as S5 also, and small.
And you wont fit in to that 335 im positive
Unlike 335, M3 made me say one thing. Fuh others buy this enjoy the power and rwd. But he has akrapovic exhaust, with that its like 350hp to wheels, plus has thay crazy intake of theirs....
So V6T is compareble to M3 from now on I guess I dont know... As in performance
Havent driven a newer Audis
As a b5 2.7 bi turbo fan, supercarger was disappointment to me. Rather have the v8 istead at least

You can squeeze a whole hell of a lot out of the N54s. Fairly easily too. Not sure the same can be said about the sc v6.
Also the S5 isn't an overly balanced car like the 3s are. They made rear suspension changes to compensate for that.
Let's also not forget 335s can easily be ~$15k cheaper. I agree though they are smaller cars.

I agree with a software upgrade better than 335is has, it could reach to M3.

Actually, the owner of the car told me he had considered getting it chipped. He said it had proven to add 85 hp or something ridiculous like that. Can you imagine?
I will also say that barring taking a 90 deg turn at 100mph I have not been able to break traction with the car. It plants and just goes...no spin.
