It looks like he's got the "elevator" on.

SV's (and other Lambo's) have a mechanism that elevates the front end in order to prevent scrapping.

Yea, they're helpful when going over speed bumps, etc....

Many Lambo owners use them, but turn disengage them once they're rolling.

It looks like he forgot to turn it off after he parked.

I dunno haha

First of all, I am happy with the new brakes, especially ceramic pads. Rims are always clean
Love it

Although, sound from left front caliper is still there.
Not sure what it is...meh

Sounds just like the second tire J. is turning

Also my tranny started to sound weird when it's cold, just for like 20 seconds, then it's gone for the whole day

After I left the pedal at 0:05, more noticable to hear

Will drop the car soon before my break ends...
Haven't painted the calipers yet

About xxr535
I am about to change my mind again

I want to run 255/40/17 tires...yeah I got lot of snow here but you guys know I use either MDX or FX when it snows..

I just don't know, but have to make sure before end of May lol
Will order tires

anyways

I am using Eagle GT Since 2 years, and happy with it
in 2 years I did more than 46K

Tirerack has 40$ rebate for Goodyear tires until end of May

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

but for Eagle F1, it's $80

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

I f...ing love this son of a b...
Only thing I want

Look at these bauties

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

I guess that's all I got for now Komodo

So many exotics around seriously, Boston wasn't like this before
It's not even hot outside...just warm during the noon and that's all

The week of July 4th, I will be in Orlando and Miami

Yes yes yes

I am coming with a plane though...the rental I will have is a suprise
Will be first on AZ I guess haha

I decided on

XXR 535 18X8.75 5-114.3 35 CHROMIUM BLACK
with
245/40/18

Yes +35 offset and 245 tires
I don't want to run spacers at the rear.
With 245 I'll have a little bit more beefy at least to fill the gap (that's enough for me)
and
Run 245 tires which I wanted
255 would be good but at least not 225

John is going to kill me
Well...the reason I step away from +20 with 225 tires is because I daily drive this bish in city like crazy..
Won't be able to take good care of that poke

That makes $1138 shipped both rims and tire
If I get 255/40/17 for my stockies...that's $530

Guess am going to stay away from BM rotors and pads....2 members have it locally and they both have those sound issues....I installed them on 1 guys car and the other guy got it installed somewhere but both have a noise when they are driving....

Meko, about the sounds from the tranny, I am not sure about your driving habit and if you warm the car up and how long (its all up in debate) but, I usually dont push the car for the first 1-2 miles of driving....

Before getting the house, I used to start the car and check the tire air pressure or see if anything is dripping from under the car and just let the car warm up for the first minute of so....then 1-2 miles of driving while keeping the revs under 2500-3000....Then a little joy ride....followed by easing down before parking her at work....

Also, not sure on your service records for the transmissions (switches/fluid/leaks/etc)....do list those out here, might help us figure out, where the noise is coming fron

Winter time I used to warm up the engine but not now during nice weathers.
Or wait until RPM drops below 1K
Not even a mile, that sound goes away... which also I don't push the car until engine warms up while driving
So won't be an issue I guess

Untill 100k everything was done at Acura about tranny
at 100K I've replaced 3rd and 4th switches and did 3 times Redline
You know, D+F+Lightweight

after 6 months of driving 17K
I did one more Redline drain fill

That's all

+ replaced the filter while doing the last drain and fill

Aldo it's made in Japan
Some are USA tranny you know that..

-----------------------------------

Brakes,
I am guessing it's the pads then...
I am ok with the rotars so far
but will see in a long run.

Some member just came and said rotars are wrapped after 6 months

My stock rotars had like 75k on them...resurfaced 1 or 2 times

Congrats on the wheels

I can't see any pictures on the first page of this thread. Did you move the pictures in an album on PB?

Ummmm
I didn't know about PB at first, I was using google
and after I deleted my account, pictures got deleted also
That's why I was thinking of creating a new thread and deleting this one
Or will post updated pics and ask Steven to add that page number to title

Yeah that's what I was thinking
Take some nice pics (in my opinion, not yours or Austins )
Post them up and briefly go over what I did to the car

Pre-order though...waiting for end of May
That's what the guy said
