Yes, they are the smoked versions. SO badass!
For $85 flat I might jump on it...
And yes, they are kinda big but...so are our headlights, and the Inspires almost perfectly match the shape of our headlights.

Going for it but first will make sure with guitarplayer
On some thread as I remember, he said something about them not being adjustable or not sure
J.
Look how the front pads are
I guess I don't have to touch them

Here is the rear
Straight
Should I keep the rear like this?

What I did to bros laptop

Got the sand paper but didn't have time J.

I was busy this weekend, so will replace the Tranny fluid + filter + compliance bushing next week
and install the CAI

No sir, I'd highly recommend you put a beveled edge on the rear...or, throw them on and see if you get the whirring noise.
If not, leave it alone. Yeah, those are nice fogs for sure.

Thanks very much Steven
Might do my laptop as well. Came out nice
Would look awesome-eeer

Ahaa never saw that video before
Got it J.
Will order when I get home
Bro, I remember you saying that 6k hid from DDM tunning has a color looks like 5k
Is that right? Should I get 6k from them to match my 5k Osrams?
Or which website would you buy hid from if you needed one
Not $150 Morimoto

Meko, the color of the DDM Tuning shifted after a couple hours of operation...their 6K had a "lesser" tint of blue than the 6K from HIDEXTRA...so am not sure if the HIDEXTRA is bluer or the DDM tuning is whiter...
and btw I installed energy suspension rear sway bar bushing this weekend...will post some pix on my thread....it was a pain, but damn was it worth it....
PROS to Sean for helping me out...he has all the tools you could ever imagine....he prolly has a time machine somewhere in the garage as well

Hey bro did u install the Inspire fogs yet? I'm looking for some help, I already ordered them and have them at my house, just needed a DIY or something to help me with the install. Got a car show on the 30th of this month, hope im the only TL in HAWAII with these lol haven't seen ANY TL's with the inspire fog lights
Thanks Yummy
He want me to do the inside as well but I said naah too hard to measure and details..
but I will do it when he is at work
Oh..no idea about Element Skins. Took the picture off google. I had a random rolled CF from ebay,
measure - cut - tape it
That's what I did,
Element Skins might have precut ones (for the Apple logo especially)
Do it Steven, looks awesome.. or just get the top cover one
Nice and clean
Energy bushings?????? The ones from amazon or Autozone?
They don't fit...how did you?
Good guy Sean
Who is Sean? "The Machine" ?
Got it
Will order HIDEXTRA 5k for 60 bucks
Thank you sir
Hopefully will be better if I finish those
Nope, I don't have em yet.
I could give you some hint but a member that has them is "boy9enius"
You could ask him about how he installed his
Here is his picture that he send me from PM

As I read, these are not hard to install as Accord fogs.
They go right in there. You just have to cut the grille.
I saw many pics of Accord fogs with a poor job on the cutting but I guess no one uses solder.
Cut the grille roughly where the fog will fit and then use soldering iron to cut/burn the details and make it perfect on the edges.

and if you saw him, you'd know he bares a striking resemblance to Marty McFly too. Uncanny.
I wish I had known about Inspyre fogs back in the day. They look so nice and match the opening so well. I may end up revisiting this mod one day. Depending on how my fogs turn out.
I did both a 6K low beam bulb and the 6k hid kit from ddm to ensure an exact match.
And I took this picture for you specifically of a TL I saw on Sunday. Gunmetal wheels:

What the hell, just calculated it and with shipping it comes to $50.47
HIDEXTRA is free shipping with $60
I choose you
J. they had a meeting last night

Update:
Ordered the smoked fogs
Ordered 9006 to h11 cable from jdmtoys
Ordered 9006 extension cable from retrofitsource

Meko, either of the kits will be just fine....just remember it also depends on what headlights (brand) you have....
DROP BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING TO THE RIMS
I thought I made myself very clear Mekoabhi !!!
Eager to see how the brakes go and Sean (Buda is his screen name) is in KC and helped me with the bushings after my stupid dremel broke
I will be putting up a thread and will post a link here....I also did something else on my car....I will be updating my thread

Yeah bro coils first...why? Because I need them

Yes, because they inspired me

Those fogs are h11 right? I'll kill you if they aren't
I need the extension because I will be using my stock fog socket/powercable
Orange leds I have inside the stock headlighs will be connected to my parking lights.
Thanks dude, can't wait to install them.
Don't think I will receive everything this week. Just ordered them..
but will keep the grills out when I take out the bumper this weekend for CAI
so i'll have time to do nice and clean job on cutting...when I am done, take out the bumper and install
Post a picture of your car. Let's see it
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/05-tl-silver-chrome-blue-882109/
I wasn't expecting this much of step on the car during the winter.
Intake, brakes, fog...were the stuff that I was going to start thinking during spring and install in summer

Will finish everything next week. I have 1 week off from school.
After that, no more details left.
Just order coils and install around next month
and xxr 535 in summer
You just can't stop because of this website haha
Definitely order the DC intake
I loved the dry filter it came with as well.. not a poor quality as K&N filters
It's cheap too..
About modding it... I guess filter kind of hits the fog housing on Type-S, it's a tight fit
Could cut the pipe and buy AEM intake if that will make you more comfortable
ebelp (John) should know more about how it fits in there...
Buy it buy it

Here you are, nothing special but its coming along nice so far.

none of those images work for me, but might be cause I'm on my works' network.
Austin, yes, he's doing it to keep it simple and not have to run new wires and gets to use the stalk switch to turn them on and off.
Thanks Meko, we'll see how it turns out.
PS, the grill, you can get it on and off with the bumper on. When you have the bumper off to do the fogs, take a look at how it's held on. It's easy to get to with bumper on.

I love those 535's.
That intake, I may cut it a little and put a bigger filter on it if I get it. I know that probably defeats the purpose of cutting it but, oh well

Yes I want it simple but at the same time why I like it is because..
- When I lock/unlock the car, I want orange leds in stock fog to turn on too
PLUS
- I will eventually do independent fog switch for Inspire fogs
but!!! Connecting them to wiper motor will not turn them on when I unlock the car (leaving the fog switch on)
That I don't like
Right now, Inspire fogs will turn on but with the headlight...oh well
Yeah, checked it but it's kind of hard to reach the clips behind the lower grill.
Will try
J. I will plastidip the lover grilles to gunmetal plastidip again...to clean them at the end + cutting might mess it up
Should I order gloossifier plastidip?
or
Should I keep them matte looking as it is
both top and lower grilles...
Just not sure matte or gloss

I love those 535's.
I was checking them out the other day when I was looking at the 530's. Simple 5 spoke wheel FTW, I've also been entertaining the thought of putting Saleen wheels on my car

do eeet I like those too
Well..fan of 5 spokes + spokes going all the way to the end/curb
I see, then do the intake just like what I did
but let me install it first and you'll see how it fits and such
