so, if I understood correctly...you DO miss 120, but not 140 then?
Yeah, I'd like to say I've outgrown speed, but every once in a while...the mood strikes.

Jeremy....I usually dont go above 100 now...I try to stay below the 3 digits...and there is a fine on how fast you are going but no fine on how fast you get to 65-75mph....

so when the mood strikes, I usually get up there and then just cruise from there on out

EDIT: the NSX is sick....

Trust me, I know...I get my kicks in quick bursts from 20 to 70...then cool out. Technically, they COULD nail you for something with fast acceleration...but c'mon officer, cut us some slack!

I once got pulled over for "accelerating too quickly". I told him that I didn't go above the speed limit, nor floor the pedal doing so. He just said it was "unnecessary" and that I didn't need to do it at all.

^^^ damn COPS just like being DICKS....

its not like you were street racing or doing a damn burnout....

since I drive 100% city (i exaggerate, more like 85%), I like to time the lights....at some lights if I get upto 50-55 really quick, I get the next 4-5 lights green, else I have to stop at every light....I just hope I dont get caught for "accelerating too quickly"

Shouldve got an FR-S. You'd never get pulled over for exhibition of speed.

There's an area near work where it's 35MPH...I know if I catch that light at the yellow it's a mad WOT dash to the next one...so what I do is accelerate as fast as possible, then drop back to 45 or so before crossing the intersection in case there's a cop there.

Well, down here, almost ALL the lights have the timed "Walk" countdown now...so you kinda know how much time you have!

Jeremy, ditto but no one here is walking so cant see how much time is left

I usually base my "judgement" with other signals...say, if I can see the light is green and am approaching it from a distance, then the left turn light turns green, I can kinda judge is I can make it to the light or not....if not, I cruise....if I think I can make it, WOT baby !!!

Same here you pay my bill too

I don't really don't care about red light. I usually want the red light anyways, so I could check out the girls that are waiting for the T.

Boston Uni. area is crazzy

J. and swoosh gimme a total number of lights you guys passed without stopping, and with the speed limit.

Mine was like at least 10, I know from where to where, I'll count the lights next time I pass from there

Canadian cars have the smaller numbers [the km/h] where you Americans have your MPH.
Which would mean 120km/h=75mp/h

=p

But I just did the math and 120mp/h=193km/h.

What are the speeding laws where you are anyhow?
In Ontario, Canada... going 50+ would result in 7 day license suspension, 7 day impounded car, ticket to court summons where the penalty can range from $2,000 to a WHOPPING $10,000!!
Ask me how I know.....................

Got you lol

getting to 200kmh is nothing for this car, I did this in a normal traffic highway during the day.
Gets up to there fast enough

200+ is what sucks for our AT I need night time for that lol

I can't live 1 day without a car
I am not sure about the laws but the only ticket I had was in 2010 doing 86mph or something in a 55mph road.

I got $100 ticket...but I blamed the STI and he believed me

Yeah I hit 200 easily too. Especially with ATLP quads... it's heaven

Wish I can say I feel your pain... but I have the 6MT. I don't suffer from that

When I first drove this car, I didn't even believe that Honda/Acura made it! It felt too fast for a 4door Honda/Acura! I used to work for a 3rd party company for Honda and even my coworkers couldn't believe how fast the TL was STOCK

I know you got MT hahaha
I don't even have J-Pipe

Before we bought this car in 2006, I drove a friends V6 Accord sedan MT and I was amazed how it pulled. That was my first impression. No torque like Germans but the car goes

Funny, I drove my neighbor's new 6-6 Accord and it feels like it pulls harder than the TL too.
