Progress Thread
HahahahIt's 35mm? Damn
Since you are not lowered, check with your eye if it would hit the fender when lowered
Post the pictures man, link is broken, like we give a shit about this thread haha
Oh shit just saw this page, le me read
18x9 +30 with 235 and fender rolled, some rub

18x8.75 +33 would sit only 6mm inside. IF that would be enough to clear the rubbing, max I should run is 235 tires. More might want fender roll

winter height....i think am gonna leave it at this height since I tightened up the preload a little bit more and I love the handlings characteristics of the car....

Pffffffff my winter setup is lower than that and yours look 10x better
Ok I'll at least get 25 for rear and move 15 to front
Oh wait, what is that second shot
It would rub like hell with my current height

only 10x
you know how to make me blush
well, I would rub if I lower it anymore....i suggest 20mm in that case....or* measure up with the 15mm and see if you have room for 5 more mm's
Austin, function > form....I am running -1.5 degs camber upfront and -0.5 in the rear....better handling is what i hear....i dont feel shit but well my mind like that way better LOL...

Honestly, driving the S at 2 finger gap all around on springs and NOT having to cringe at every bump in the road is making me consider raising the TL back up slightly too...and inch can make a difference, or so I've heard. I've never had an extra inch to give

Well, people say 20mm rubs sometimes with 235 tires on stockies
So running 225 with 20mm would clear that
Noo camburrrr Austin
I have no idea, I just say I need alignment and they do it
---------
J!!!!!
Yeah true but S is already low and looks sexy
I want to lower the car because during summer it looked hotter

Well, what I am going to do is just clear the gap. Will not tuck it in
Which is 3rd thread from bottom for rear
IDK front, it has many

again depends on a lot of things...
but this is how I would go about it:
Lower the car to where you like it
measure how much room you have
get spacers
i dont think there is any other way around it...how much room do you have with the 15mm spacers now?

^^^that's the smartest way to do it.
Sooo, Meko won't do it that way.
Seriously though, factor in if you'll need tires soon, if you want different tires, if you're okay rolling fender, if you're okay with a little minor rub etc. Personally...take your measurement and go 5MM less than max.

This guy!!! hahahaha
Ok I'll go with that idea
How much room I have right now?
Right rear? None lol
Right sits outer than the left, allignment problem I guess
That's why I will lower the car since have to get alignment at the end
Future tire is true as well, since I want 255

Meeks from my understanding:
Scenario 1: if you are not tucking tire:
I am running 225 tire on a 17x8 +45 with 25mm spacer...so essentially 17x8 +20....if you run a 255 tire, you will stick out 15mm...so the spacer will have to go down to 10mm....with that said, I dont mind if the rear sticks out another 5mm....I think it will look very aggressive....so if you are planning on running a 255 tire, get a rim which is around +30 to +35mm offset...
Scenario 2: if you are tucking tire...
I think I cant tuck the tire...i would have to take away 5mm if I had to tuck tire....so I would be running a 225 tire with +25 offset if I wanted to tuck some tire....when you go 255 tire, same 15mm come to play and now you are at +40 offset....so get a rim ~+40 offset if you wanted to tuck tire...
with that said, am not a fan of bulgy tires being tucked....stretch/mild stretch tires tucked look awesome but not bigger tires...thats just me
I approve the Progress RSB along with Moog endlinks

I approve both scenarios, but I think my drop will cover both
Will sit on the edge of the tire, after people sit at the back, it will tuck in
So smartest way is to lower the car first and then measure, but I think 15mm will be perfect, WELL, not sure of my alignment yet, it might fool me right now.
I'll listen the smart idea
Buy this?

I replaced the links to Moog like 2 yrs ago. Change em again?

Meeks, you got the 225 for winter/snow.....remember skinnier tire is better in snow and wider is better in summer
Austin, how are you running -2 camber upfront? OEM kit/Skunk2 camber kit?
I have ingalls and cant run more than -1.5 upfront
Meeks, from what I have been reading, more neg camber upfront helps in handling characteristics....I am running -1.5 upfront and -0.5 in the rear....

I got it for to accelerate faster, not for snow hehehe
Meh how many times does it snow... although it snows like crazy right now
I have stock camber shit in front, I am not wasting money on thoseeeee
Yeah but more negative is not good for straight run.
Better handling of course... haven't you wondered why F1 front wheels are way to negative
BUT!! I think our front tires sit at negative anyway, well they look like it. I think setting them to zero might even give negative camber idk
This is like 3 hrs ago, way more right now and still snowing big big big

It looks clean on the pics and can't see the poke that stupid bar did

I was like may be because I am on icon view.. I click and open up the pictures, and they are like, that's not real?
