not 100% sure. 8-10 whp? just depends if you have ported runners or not or what other bolt ons you may have... most threads I found were guys going from 3.5 to 3.7 so to go from 3.2 to 3.7 would b more gains I would assume. The weight savings is pretty significant though, I also got magnesium valve covers for the swap also

I never was tempted by any of that...I have a factory freak early model 6MT with all of the torque and hp under the bonnet. Any modification I make would literally take away the monstrous power I already have. So I don't.
It's not biggy, really.

LOL. yes J we all can't have 6MT
I also got a maxbore J37 TB to go with it too so that should help a little for throttle response.

^ I always thought that you couldn't flashpro the 04-06 AT??? Fuckin sucks balls man
Id have to dig more into it to be 100% sure but from what I've read quickly it seems that it wont work. I wonder if I could swap to a 07-08 AT ECU.. Seems like a can of worms that I don't really want to open tho lol

To be honest if you go that deep into the NA mods tuning is the path to take. You may get 10HP out of the 3.7 setup...or it could be 18 tuned. You know?
I haven't looked into it in a while but if I remember right I'd have to get a new ECU, some kind of extra harness, and the Hondata unit plus tune. $$$$$
But he's right. A properly tuned car makes a WORLD of difference.

MAYBE down the road Ill look into it. If I could find the required ECU out of a scrap TL then that may be an option. I don't really know much about all that tho.
I bet it does make a significant difference though, love those h22 preludes!

part #3 in the diagram.. does it look like it "snaps" into the engine cover? do you think I could dremel off those clips and smooth them out then stick high temp 3m adhesive onto it to stick it onto my manifold top plate? I like what family guy did with the "3.5 vtec" badge on his setup but that one already comes flat with 3m tape.
what you guys think?
