The powder coating looks great man! Can't wait to see those installed.
For whatever reason a detail shop that has a gravel entrance irks me. LOL

Thats funny u say that, we were talking about that today! My tires were already chalky from the gravel LOL.. He's just starting out and its his first business so he's not really making a ton. Its a fairly big lot too so I assume it wouldn't be cheap to pave.

Probably would be expensive. He could just do the entrance though. Or maybe even do some of those 20 inch pavers...

Jeff...did they color sand what they painted on the car after? Or did they blend onto the doors and not wetsand/compound that? That driver door closeup, under the mirror...the orange peel doesn't look right...
Just curious and figured I'd mention before you aren't in warranty with the paint shop (you did have paint work done IIRC, right?)

yea man I actually did notice that too!! I have an appt with them next month for my trunk and rear bumper so ill point it out and get it fixed up. He treats me good there so it wont be a issue.
It seems to be just that top section of the door...The rest of the car is ultra gloss...
And yea that whole door woulda been repainted at the time. Whats the process to remove orange peel? wetsand and buff?

whats up guys? Haven't been on here much lately, I'm interning at my college for a few months until classes in January.
But over the weekend I managed to get to the 3.7 manifold, 3.7 TB and valve covers this weekend.
Also bought another car. 2003 Acura 1.7 EL Premium. Using it as a winter beat and just a daily in general..Its actually a nice little car, in great shape , low miles and cheap on gas which is what I need.
Concusion on the Manifold and TB swap is that I really like it lol.. Was a fun job too, not overly difficult at all, (my buddy did most of the work though lol)
Car pulls much better now, it has a lot more top end power that is for sure and the throttle response changed a lot too.
Overall it looks good, sounds good and feels good so I'm happy.
Will get a engine bay degrease done and clean some things up a bit, its not done yet lol.
