Not gonna lie Jon...that gif was actually pretty impressive and I hadn't really dissected it that well but right on top of each other, I'd say yes. But the drunk guy better not be a car enthusiast! He'd have to be like some of my friends that are like, oh yeah, same wheels right? I'm like, uh...the others were silver and 6 spoke
Gdamn you go to lengths to prove stuff. LOL....

Jeff, it's Jeremy, not Jason assuming you were addressing me. ?

Ggesq...you like his wheels? What kinda wheels do you like?

I've seen both wheels side by side and they're nothing alike, other than both being wheels.

Good deal dude, took me a few weeks to dial mine in but it's a fun process. If you still have the stockies can you measure the weight on one vs the Advan? Thx

Hello, delivery! That was fast J

The aspecs are a little heavier than the s types right? His Advan are 235s not 225s, but regardless, saving 5lbs+/wheel while going from an 8"-8.5" wheel to a 9" wheel is nice.

The type s wheel is 17x8 with a 235/40 so yes its a pretty good upgrade. The weight savings is great

I deliver!

the Advan with 235/40/18 was 44...so you're spot on. Not sure why I made mention of the 225 but I guess cause that number was more prevalent since I had them for so long.

that's a great weight loss on each corner! i went from 49 pounds to 41.5 pounds with my new setup and that's even going from a 225 to a 235. you'll love the "light" feeling.

looking forward to seeing everything on your car. i'd highly recommend 235 over 225 for your set too, it's a big difference in comfort.

i don't know how you can go without having it for a season or two...mine is my daily and if i don't drive it for a few days i have an itch to floor it next time i go out haha

Well I hear ya on that, but if you saw what our winters are like then you wouldnt wanna drive your car either, plus we have a Acura EL that we use for winter and for grocery runs and lugging stuff around. I just have too much money into the car to be beating it around in the winter lol.

Also when I pick it up from storage, I have to pinch myself and be like hey thats my car lol and its a ton of fun jumping into it after 6 months, I have a shit eating grin for the whole summer and enjoy my time with it in the nice weather. And on the other note, keeps the car in great shape and the miles low

225 got the job done and cleared fenders because I didn't want to run negative camber but after losing that set to some toe wear, I realize it's all the same difference...so a little extra camber and the proper width tire it is...235 is what our cars came with.

hey wait, you callin me fat?

plus, 235 ride a lot more smoothly since they load rating is correct for the weight of the car.

yea the 225 on a 9'' wheel is too much stretch for my taste, the 235s already have a lil stretch to them on the 9'' wheel, but it looks good.

These michelin pilot sport 3 tires appear to be a fairly sticky tire. I haven't read much about them yet but by the looks of it they wouldnt be good in any sort of cold weather scenario.

Stretch? Our stockies are 8"-8.5" and a 235 tire doesn't stretch? I'd put 245-265s on a 9" wheel for some 1st gear grip.

Honestly, depends on the tire because those kumho 235 are sitting pretty flush with my advan edge 9".

LOL...that's literally how I feel about myself too.
Sometimes I fire off some golden rage that I KNOW proves that I'm right but then cringe later when I see that the person responded and I'm not mad anymore.

Well, they come to Acura/Honda as an assembled unit from the manufacturer so you'd probably need to figure out who the manufacturer is and contact them directly.
