ok. im new at the tl game here. i might have missed it some where in ur 30+ page thread here. (with alot of awsome stuff. im not knocking it at all) are you stickin with the oem head unit or are you goin aftermarket? and what are you doin about the oem amp? im more used to civics and mainly stuff that doesnt have amps from the factory.

One of my loyal fans Thank You Sir!
OK, first... NO! these are NOT cut into OEM headrest. These are Audiovox PREFABBED (already assembled) Headrest 7in DVD monitors. The only thing neede to be done out of the box was to wrap the choice of leather around the bare headrest and monitor. The kit comes with TAN, BLACK & GREY. Obviously, I needed the black leather kit included. In addition, choices of post diameter sizes was needed for best fitment. (Also included in the kit)
So in short, In this entire thread I like a clean subtle look of mods and close to OEM as possible, with a twist But most important to me is everything being able to disassemble all my mods and convert right back to OEM stock for those "Just in case" situations. This goes for the head unit also...COMPLETE STOCK! with RCA tapped before the amp and all additional accessories also installed before the factory amp. The matrix was used as a fancy LOC to help keep or convert the output power higher then the OEM head unit puts out. It was even advised today by my friend/installer the MATRIX was not even needed. But he will install it only because I have it already
Hope that made scense because it never does to me and always needs to be explained to me over and over and over.... DON'T SAY A WORD JERRY!
Hope this helps

If everything works as planned I should have everything ready to go or ready to be plugged in. But as long as I can at least isolate any remaining work that fails to be complete by the weekend to the trunk area alone, I am golden! Just as long as I can install some interior pcs and mainly, the rear seat. Once this is done, I am already looking to my next or revamped project ahead. It will consist of ~ Dupli-Color Torque 'N' Teal Paint with CERAMIC It is going to look str8 bad ass!

also, the only problem with this is #1 how would I know if something like this would even fit behind my wheels? #2 I have heard its a complete waste of money and if your TL did not come with it, don't bother. And that is mainly why I just went ahead and painted my stock set RED. I think the stock brakes will still look great in TEAL. Just not as sporty and bulky as BREMBOS.

Ok, just as promised. I came home today and went right to it. DO WERK SON! I was working on the interior install, baffle install, and custom tweeking/cutting/trimming here & there and deadening sealing. In whirl of a combination of approx. 5+ hrs today after work.
Although falling short of full completion, I hope I still pleased the followers and haters alike I still have plenty of work but nevertheless, small duties ahead of me tomorrow compared to all I have endured today and accomplished.
Tomorrows agenda consist of:
* bolt down & secure firmly the panel to braces with the 6x lag bolts & washers
* placing the air bag module
* rear seat install
* trimming the rear carpet side panels for better flush OEM like fitment (as much as possible)
EXTREME PIC HEAVY! Sorry, got alot done at one time
...HOPE THAT FEED THE APPETITES

Wow...looks amazing, man...that trunk looks SOOOO effin clean!
I can't wait till you get to hear it. Your "to do" list for tomorrow looks like less than an hour. Easy peasy.
You're rolling with no spare right now? That's one thing that I'd consider doing...if I could lose the spare, I'd seriously consider going IB. Because if I could hide my amps, it'd be worth making more space in the trunk.

First, if u would have been reading and following the thread like a real G... u would see i also have used CASCADE deadening products also but choice and recommendation.
Ballistic was because i didn't have enuff DYNAMAT to do the trunk and seal the baffle. So i used the superior product for the more demanding job (DYNAMAT was my preferred choice) and the other just to tighten it down some. And Ballistic was local and much more affordable. It fit the purpose. Hope that helped.
You do know i am just messing with u... its called Joshing...lol- never mind

So, on the way to work early this morning at 240am, I realized I am completely unhappy with something already. So YES! This is my thread so therefore I will RANT! My complaint is, I can not hear that nice PURrrrrrrrrrrr from the exhaust anymore ...lol Now that the int is all in and sound deadening is obviously doing its job To hear the exhsut note I have to drive with the windows down... without that note, I feel so outta place and the travel just isn't the same.
Thanks for letting me share

Have you thought about measuring how much space you have between the amp and the floor? Then just fine a block of styrofoam (you probably HAVE some) and just cut a piece and stick it on top of the amp?
PS...I'm so worried about getting a flat somewhere far from home...
