It's been 3 years in the making and has required a very understanding wife haha

Started a new project tonight....let's just say, steering wheel to the shifter relationship is about to change

Always wanted to see a sequential shifter in one of acurazines members' car.

I always loved the shifter placement in the JACCS accord.

You've probably got it sold already but if not and you want to sell your OEM dash, I'll be happy to buy it.

I love the sequential gearbox idea. Which type are you going with and will you have to use the clutch on up-shifts?

My dash, even though not cracked, is pretty much useless with all the cuts and mods I've done to it over the years. What are the odds, the guy with no use for the OEM dash doesn't have a cracked one. lol

I'm not doing a sequential box, I wish haha. I'm just reworking the shifter location a "tad" bit. hopefully I'll find the time to get it progressed a bit and get some pics up.

Here are some videos of it.

I am interested in seeing what you come up with. Only way I have seen them modified is raising the shifter base or using a shift lever extender.

I have wanted to use the k-tuned shifter cables with the k-tuned shifter box.
http://k-tuned.3dcartstores.com/Bill...Box_p_230.html
http://k-tuned.3dcartstores.com/Race...ket_p_245.html

Right now I am just running a Pspec SS, hybrid racing shifter bushings, shift lever extender, CDD delete, slave mod, and steel clutch line.

I made a shifter lever extender a while ago but it makes the throw just stupid long and not worth it at all. I'm working on raising the base about 8" (so to speak).

If this works out it could help with your supercharger build...

Yeah man I stumbled upon this a couple weeks ago after gerzand's update and I really hope it works out. I've thought about a centrifugal sc for a few years now and thought about tackling the project but always had more pressing things to get done.

Yeah it sucks being gone so frequently but it just comes with the job right now. I am happy to announce though that before I left I was able to secure a sponsorship with Sublime Speed Technology here in Omaha and they will be building my cage upon my return. Check them out and like them on facebook for a look at the great work they do. Links below.

Check out the TL love on Track Time Motorsports new website including an online store. I happen to know the owner and he's a big fan of the car. If you live in the upper midwest, take a long weekend and attend one of TTM's track days at BIR in MN. It's a great time at a great track with a great company. I know I'll be up there at least once this summer with the TL.

I am jealous of your cage sponsorship. Gonna have to pay for mine myself. What do they require besides putting stickers on the car.

I would be interested in driving up to the track in the summer. Can you pm me the info when you get it.

I offered to help promote their business online and around the paddock while at track events. They do really nice cage work for both street and race setups including electrostatic painting/coating to make it look good for a long time.

Yeah man, that'd be great to have more AZ'ers at track days. Where you coming from? Maybe we should put together an AZ wide track day at Mid America Motorplex or Motorsports park Hastings, Heartland Park Topeka, etc...

sounds good to me! If MAM still does their fast friday's next year that would be the cheapest, most open track day around.

Yeah we'll see if I get that far this winter. I'd still really like to do it though.

If you saw the rest of my to-do list you'd tell me I'm nuts....after you picked your jaw up of the floor. Not even that exciting of stuff...just tons to wrap up and prep for next year.

Thanks man I appreciate it. Just wish I had more time to get stuff done and post it.

Also thinking about Lexan front/rear windshields this winter. Since the glass has to come out for the cage anyways I might as well give it a shot. Would really like a sub 2400lb chassis.

damn sub 2400 is awesome....

that will be really bad ass....if you are pushing around 320-ish whp with that weight, am sure you gonna walk some pretty "big named" cars....

Yeah but factor in the cage, fuel and me and it'll still need a decent amount of whp to make it competitive in the ST3/TT3 NASA class. The class works on adjusted power to weight ratio with an adjusted min of 9.0lbs:1whp. With the mod factors of being fwd, 245 tire, etc I can be as low as 7.85:1 and still work out to be legal for the class. So power wise this is what I'm looking at.

2900lbs: ~370whp
2850lbs: ~363whp
2800lbs: ~357whp

getting a race weight lighter than that is going to be pretty hard to do. Although, changing to a 275 tire would help bring the whp figures down to make it bit easier to attain without going turbo. Unless Richie at RV6 as something up his sleeve for me.

I'm warming up to the rear mount turbo idea. Well, I'd do it mid-mounted underneath the rear seat area.
