WOW!!

Very nice, Mike. Great looking design; could've took the easy way out and made a plain/simple set of tips, but instead put some thought into making the design stand out.

Good job!!

I hope the tips will stick out a BIT more than the stock ones to make the exhaust a lil noticable visually. The tips are made for the stock bumper but for us with the A-Spec kit, the stock tips are tucked in too much. Will you be electroplating the ATLP logo on this like the quads?
Thanks for the feedback guys!

It did take a lot of time, but we're finally there.

I'll try to make sure they are flush with the stock bumper, as I can't make them flush with the A-spec, because then it will stick out if you don't have the a-spec. (I know, who DOESN'T have an a-spec at this point? )

nice, these better fit the rj bumper Raj! If not were cutting it
That's the spirit!

When is the last day for taking deposits for the first batch Mike? Is it limited to a certain number?
Yes, I believe the first batch will be about 25 systems. Whenever that number reaches will be the first batch.

Causeee, I want these now...
PM me.

Fits with and/or without a-spec.
Right.

I love it. I really need to hear it!!! I was going to get the XLR8 for my 06 TL A-spec, but these do look nice! I actually want an exhaust with some sound, not as loud as Skunk. My decision will also be based on HP increase. Will this exhaust system add as much HP as the dual 4.5" tipped XLR8 catback??? Thanks !!! J.D.
HP gains will remain the same as the ATLP Quad Exhaust. We are keeping the routing and muffler internals the exact same since the results, as far as tone and power were very satisfying. About 11whp/9wtq.

I'd love to send money now, but I really want to see it on the car first...
Definitely will be the first thing we are working on.

Thanks again for all the feedback.

Remember, please e-mail me as it's easier for me to reply to them as I don't have to delete my messages due to the inbox being full. E-mail is mike@acuratlparts.com.

Thanks!

Is there going to be a group pricing or free shipping? CA tax sucks and having some form of savings would help out with that.

yeap they look even better unpackaged! rofl

as to the tips sitting out a bit more; be careful, i originally had my stock tips welded on and pushed back a bit more and

1) it sits weird
2) introduces all sorts of weird vibrations with how the tip sat against the rear bumper/lip; in the end i just went back to the shop and had them push it in back to the way it was

make sure you test for those mike

This is the introductory price, which is only valid for the people that signed up for the first batch.

Everyone that e-mailed me, thanks and please hold on tight. Just finalizing a few things with the manufacturer this week and will get back to everyone with further details to those that e-mailed me.

I will wait for the dimensions. I WILL NOT cut the RJ rear, it will totally rice out the RJ rear styling if cut. Didn't pay that much money to dremel out the exhaust cut out!

Thanks Mike. Will it be at least as loud as my stage III mod (mid-muff delete/Dyno res) I hope its louder. Will you offer a version without a resonator like XLR8 ? I want to hear my WDP baby.

Yes, I got everyone's e-mail. I just didn't want to respond until I get these fitted with no problems.

Test fit is scheduled for end of next week with ib18c1!

Of course it will be louder. They all come without a resonator standard. To add one, it will be a bit more but is always an option. But honestly, the 3.2 TL with our exhaust system sounds just right.

Mike, I laud you with utmost praise, EXCELLENT looking tips!

Now, I want to know if these muffers and tips will fit the ATLP quad system? Like are the mounting points for the quad tips the same as these?

It seems from what I read that it will match up. It looks like the whole entire system is exactly the same as the quad tip system, only the tips are different, so taht would lead me to beleive that the mufflers are teh same, and therefore the quad exits are the same.

Yes, they will swap out with anyone who has the ATLP Quad Exhaust System. But you will need a new rear bumper, as these tips will be orientated differently. Well, you don't NEED a new bumper, but it would look out of place I'd imagine.

mike,

i am thinking about putting down a deposit on this new exhaust you have unveiled but i was wondering, if it has the potential to be as quiet as say a comptech or tanabe exhaust if i get it resonated AND add an additional resontor...not really fan of loud exhausts..also by adding these will i affect the performance of it??

Comptech uses 2 resonators if I recall correctly, and so does Tanabe. We don't use any and focus on having the mufflers be responsible for, well, muffling. That's why we use pretty large canisters instead. Ask those who have the ATLP system on the 3.2 Base TL, and I think a lot of them will tell you it's not too loud and sound just right. But of course, if you need a quieter than normal ride, you can always add in a resonator. Or two.
