Oh, silly me I forgot the pictures of the tips! I thought you guys just wanted to see the box they came in. =)
Polished tips, matte finish inside.
(will have option to be painted flat black inside, for $30 extra)
Stainless Steel 304. All the way.

Contours very well to the stock curves of the bumper cutout, while still giving a bad-ass look to it.
Yes it's slanted. Slanted top to bottom, as well as side to side.

Did someone say quads?
4 x 2.25" ID pipes. Should look pretty mean from the back.

Flat rear face also is polished. Doubt anyone even checks.

Yum.

Top View.

Price is set at $1095.00 + S&H for the first batch, and will be $1150 the next batch.
Next week these will be fitted, and tested for sound and bumper fit. Performance will remain the same as only about 4 inches of the system has changed, but not much restriction was introduced.
For payment and pre-order information, e-mail me at mike@acuratlparts.com with your shipping address, and I will e-mail you back with a invoice to place a deposit. We are accepting deposits ($200 deposit, remainder due when exhausts are ready), or full payments.
ETA for completion and remainder payment due is about 1.5 months from now.

I was waiting for this ALL 2008! I am so impressed by the results, looks AMAZING! I for one always liked the squarish tips. The quads look good too but look better on other types of cars with V8s. The squarish tips are unique to the TL. It is teasing my head like crazy! Looks like I have to bite!
I hope the tips will stick out a BIT more than the stock ones to make the exhaust a lil noticable visually. The tips are made for the stock bumper but for us with the A-Spec kit, the stock tips are tucked in too much. Will you be electroplating the ATLP logo on this like the quads?

oh gawddd...that quad exit to a single square looks great Mike =], i actually won't mind selling my quads anymore...sorta lol...but man...maybe i will just buy these and keep the quads as well....wonder how the system will look on a type s rear lip!
Mike ... when you get a chance, please measure the width and height dimensions of the tips as shown in these pics. I know that many are wondering what the fitment will be regarding clearances of the tips in the base bumper and A-Spec exhaust cut-outs. Thanks.

These were designed for the Base + A-Spec fitment. The only bumper we were discussing that was having clearance issues would be the RonJon. But a little dremel here and there would make that work just perfect. =)

Wow... freaking nice. If my original base bumper was not damaged I would've just waited a year for this!~
And I definitely agree with 1b18c1... would love to see this on a type-s rear! As much as I love my Quads these tips have a much more unique look than the quads...

wait...so it wont fit the base w/o aspec??? and sorry for posting again...
I love it. I really need to hear it!!! I was going to get the XLR8 for my 06 TL A-spec, but these do look nice! I actually want an exhaust with some sound, not as loud as Skunk. My decision will also be based on HP increase. Will this exhaust system add as much HP as the dual 4.5" tipped XLR8 catback??? Thanks !!! J.D.
TOO bad I have to wait until I sell a few more items b4 getting this

Once the eastcoast wakes up to this, get ready for greddy's and xlr8's in the bm galore
Mike, if I still had my tl I'd fuck with this no doubt, long ago seriously I thought your quads were well just quads, this just has no way of describing how good it looks
I can't even picture what it'll look like on the whip
But I do sorta kinda remember drawing something similar on the pc and just couldn't really make it look good, then you go and show the rear of these tips... God all mighty

Hahaha so you'll actually put some miles on your car....
If I can recall, the words from your ups guy: what's wrong with his tl, it's always parked in this driveway"

hehe,i think in the last 2 to 3 months i have only put 400 miles on it maybe if that

this is a good reason to put some miles on my car...
so what you say mike?

and you don't get that awkward look from putting two small tips on their own on one side.
