Hey samplemonster, I don't know if you saw my extended detailed thread about the transmission, just check it out all the details are there. I have done the switches twice so far. Always helps the situation but in my opinion my situation is not all about the switches, I feel it's more about the fluid. At the present point in time my car is running exactly the same as I mentioned in my last post. No changes. The cold temps do make it shift more sluggish and rough. I am dealing with it, I sportshift on inclines to hold gears because it tends to keep a higher gear than it should. The car is running fine for the most part, so I am happy. I'm going to leave it alone till spring for my next 3x3 drain and fill. Don't need no headaches for now.

Hi, I see that you changed your switches after having a stuttering transmission last year. Did that fix it for you? How's it holding up?

Thanks for the compliments! I went with Tein Basics. If this car is your daily driver, it's all about where you live. Living down south with nice roads is no problem. I would actually like to go even LOWER. I can't do that here in the NY area, the roads are horrendous and I have to drive slow with eagle vision. I had to raise it to the level that it's the minimum without a rub 95% of the time. In the beginning I was happy to have a nice firm ride, I didn't mind it. The car handles 100x better. Now 60k and years later I think I should had spent just a bit extra to get the SS with EDFC. Or maybe even just go the whole way and get an air suspension. I'd love to change the height on demand with the way the roads are here. I'll do it on my next car. Good luck, just know the compromises. When you look at your car you will always be reminded it's worth it.

Sup man, thanks for noticing. A few years back there was a member who had real CF accents on his A-spec kit. He offered a few for sale but it was expensive and there was limited interest. (Basically it costs as much as the whole bodykit, lol.) So I decided the next best thing would be to do a gloss gray CF vinyl wrap. When I first did it, it looked AWESOME. Only problem is it wasn't very weatherproof and it faded from the sun. I have now redone it with 3M 1080 ScotchPrint black CF which was much easier to work with and weatherproof. You can find it on EBay. It looks more understated with 3M, and maybe not as nice as when I first did it, but I'm happy. I did the front and back (Type-S A-Spec) Good luck.
