My confirmation e-mail from you guys says that it cleared on DEC. 10th right at the bottom so... is there a mix up? Aight fine forget it I just have to wait that's all.
This is why the new york tuner scene sucks, cause shipping takes forever. Everyone in Cali got their shit already. (sorry I'm just venting )

I'm sorry that's how it turned out, but it was the operations manager's call to make. He knows what's best for the company...had we promised to lie on the value of the system to customs, then that would be a different story.

Got mine installed and wow is it louder than I though it would be when driving around. I'll get used to it though. I love the sound when it starts up!

Have the same problem with the positioning of the muffler exhaust tips. Passenger side is perfectly centered. Drivers side is a little higher and positioned a little bit in toward the inner side of the cutout. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get it centered right.

Sorry to you too, but again, the operations manager made the call, he had his reasons, and i trust that. Trust me, we are well aware of the tips and tricks for shipping to Canada, we do have dealers up there as well. I wish i could comment more on why they were shipped this way, but all i can say is that i personally asked him to do what he could to keep the extra expenses lower for our Canadian customers, and he said said he would do what he could, but there are certain things that he couldn't do. Hopefully you guys can understand our position.

Tracking #

Hi Chris,

The 2nd tracking number doesn't work either. Can you recheck and send it to me again. Just excited to get the exhaust (and want to try and time it so the wife doesn't see ).

Wow, I thought it was only me...My exhaust hangs the same way. I've tried adjusting the exhaust several times now with no improvment..It looks like the P/S side tip sits perfect, and the D/S tip is not centered, more towards the inner portion of the cutout...I need to get it on a lift and try to tweak the hangers a bit....

Has anyone tried a resonator yet????

Yup its loud!!! But I saw that coming, my driving style though I feel I can control it most of the time. I normall cruise around town at 2k with spurts of 2.5 or 3 so its controllable.

I really like it for now, but will definately try a resonator out in a few months.

I got mine to hang perfect I think, I set the passenger to one finger then kept playing with the driver till I got one finger. Must say it took my 30 minutes to get it right on though......

looks like its a big problem for the exhaust to be lined up, I think you guys just attach an Aero AR25 resonator... should shut it up... or for those who demand real quiet a hushpower resonator 2.5" diameter

Mine is even loud when cruising. Well more of a loud drone. When I'm coasting with the gas still barely engaged it is silent. Still it is not overboard, just something to get used to. I just love the sound.

How did you get it to adjust? I tried loosening the bolts and adjusting the hangers, but it really didn't move any.

Also what did every one do for the torque on the bolts? I did 40 ft lbs at the cat and then 25 ft lbs everywhere else. Basically what stock requires.

Does everyone remember the vote that was taken as to whether everyone wanted the EVO or the quieter SPII for this exhaust - and pretty much everyone voted for the EVO. Even when GReddy posted that they could cut some of the drone for the sake of 5 HP and everyone shot that down, too (I was 1 of the few, if any, who preferred quiet to an extra 5HP). I find it funny that so many are complaining that the system is too loud now.... I was out-voted at every turn but I love the look so I'm conditioning myself to accept some noise when my system gets installed.

BTW - how much $$ will that AERO resonator run?

I really don't think everyone is complaining. There are a few, but I know my posts aren't complaining. I just commented that it was louder than I thought but that I still love the sound. Like Chris said, for those who have never owned an after market exhaust, you'll get used to it just give it some time. I definitely fit in that category. I've ridden in some WRX's that I couldn't hear myself think, that's not the case with this exhaust.

As far as the voting for the louder vs quieter version of the exhaust, I still think the Louder/more hp choice was the correct one. You can easily make it quieter with a resonator, however you can't make it louder or increase the horse power on the quieter version as easily or at all.

In reguards to the positioning problems some of us are having, I'm sure that during the week Chris will help us out with a detailed write up of how to make the proper adjustments in order to get the drivers side to line up properly.
