Colorado got so much more than they expected, taxed income wise, when they legalized. Just think of how much better the roads could be, or how cheap college education could be if they turned the ganjaincome into something beneficial.
I'm optimistic that we might see that change in the next decade or so.
Then we can start focusing on those speed limits...

Man, that is the whole root of my reason for legalization. I myself don't partake, because reasons, but it frustrates the hell out of me that A) it's criminalized, and B) there is so much lost potential for taxation. Not that I'm particularly fond of taxation, but the Guv hits petrol, alcohol, and tobacco so hard but passes up billions on the green.

And then eventually by some miracle they notice me, swerve into the other lane, I pass them and they look at me like I'm the idiot who's going to create an 18 car pile up. Plz go to hell and suffer for eternity, shitty drivers!

It angers me because it creates very dangerous scenarios.

I think people who drive slow have an issue with the right lane because that's where people exit and enter so it's a "hassle" for them. That's when they end up in the middle lane and sometimes even the left lane.

it doesnt matter if its grid locked.
in Houston we have the largest/widest freeway on earth. 8 lanes in each direction, that's 16 lanes!
and it still gets jammed.

The Houston highway system is so monumentally inefficient that I can't help but conclude it was done that way on purpose.
I've also decided that for all the bragging and cockswinging I hear from A&M and UT grads, neither school seems to be able to graduate a Civil Engineer. Otherwise the roads would have been fixed at some point during the endless "upgrades" they perform.
Dunno.

Well, see, I'm technically not allowed to leave the house except to go to work. Otherwise my ankle jewelry starts beeping.
But really, I've got so little free time right now. Family, school, running, and work. But one of these days I will break free. That Coffee and Rice meetup might be a good excuse. My kid can check out the cars and mamma and me can get some java.
However, I need to get the car in a state that isn't embarrassing to park... and that takes time I don't have. Rinse and repeat.
I just hope I don't get covered in crabs and carbon fiber vinyl.

I just got back from vacation on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where I'm from. The driving has changed drastically since I was there 5 years ago. It's congested and the driving style is similar to when I was in Greece which isn't a good thing until you learn to pretend you're driving in a video game, then it's fun. My father had such a hard time getting used to the yeild on green, vs the protected arrow for left turns that we had a major wreck on the way to the airport to come home. I was the only one not wearing a seatbelt so I'm the only one with a swollen nose and a big scab on my face. We made it home at 11pm instead of 11am with a 4.5hr layover in Houston that sucked. But we finally totaled a rental car which I've never done before. I have to say the Santa Fe is as bland and boring as can be but it held together well. I smelled like airbag all day which made me nervous that I might get stopped at the airport with explosive smell on me.
Geico is awesome too. My dad admitted fault and that he was the driver. The cops wanted to know everyone's seating position and I saw him write it down correctly. There's even the blood from my nose on the back of the drivers seat for proof not to mention the instant on the spot beating the fiancée gave me for not wearing my belt. So my parents get the written statement and Geico has concluded that I was the driver. Maybe to get out of paying?? Pretty low but it's to be expected.
I know this is way off topic but didn't know where else to put it. It fits the ramblings part well though.

Your posts are always welcome here, man.
And that seat is lucky all you left on it was blood.
Glad you're okay though.
