Well that's very nice of you Anil. I might just do that.

How should I go about buying switches and sending them your way? Or do you prefer I send you money so you can buy them instead? Either way is fine for me really.

Oh and I watched Mad Max this weekend. A bit deceived. I mean I expected madness... but it's just nonsensical. Didn't have the charm of the old Mad Max I think.

I'd like to preface this with I AM NOT A DOG PERSON.

Meet Toby. He's a really well behaved half Rotty, half German Shepard. About 5 months old. He's good with cats, he's good with dogs of all sizes, he's good with kids and with adults. He doesn't bark unless someone comes to the door, but it's just like 3 loud barks. That's it. Enough for us to know and for whoever else is out there to know He started to respond to his name after just a day. He doesn't bite. He loves walks and playing outside. He has just a fantastic temperament.

It's been 2.5 days and I am now a dog person.

He has peed once on the floor, the day we got him. He's been good since. Here's to hoping it goes on

Happy to help

PM me your email address...am gonna ask Tim to give me a quote on the switches shipped to my door and will forward you that quote...he gives me free shipping (no minimum purchase) but I HAVE to use my CC/address...Once you are ok with the price, will order them, and will ship them off to you once I receive them

Hey man thanks so much for stepping up to help me. Immensely appreciated!

For the price of the 2 switches locally I could get 4 in the states. Yeah, "just" twice the price for everything related to the car. @_@

all good

yeah, its insane how some prices for the same unit differ THAT much!

Also, for your 2004, do you need the transmission filter? I have a 2005 and change that everytime I do the switches (60K miles). Let me know if you would like me to add that in the email am gonna send to Tim.

Haha well now that you're asking, yeah I actually was thinking of changing the filter too and maybe the gasket, o-ring, spring and all the tiny parts that come with this. I didn't want to sound too needy though. The switches are really the main parts.

I got the parts number somewhere on my desk in the office, can I email you with these tomorrow? Filter is worth $28 plus 15% taxes here. The o-ring for the filter... $9. Each gasket for the switches $7. If that's not an insane markup I don't know what it is!

yeah its insane...and hey, if am shipping a package to ya, might as well have everything you need compile a list and shoot it across

I see the switches with crush washers are about ~$42 each

Also the Filter is $14, Spring is 2 bucks, Oring is 4 bucks and gasket is 3

That's really nice of you, Anil.
Okay, I like you again.

Plus, I'm sure you haven't gone back but I actually did make some videos facing the correct way and thanked you for the push to get it done.

Happy Memorial Day everyone...for you Canadians...that's the day we celebrate the people braver than us!

Man I'm tired and I still need to cook for my lunch tomorrow + shower and shave my mug.

In an ideal world, this would be all done, or someone else would do it for me.
