I appreciate the effort you're making to fix things between boss and I, but I believe he's just a cheap ass. I don't count my time while I work, like I said, I finish things when I finish them. If that means 15 minutes extra, well it's on me. I don't mention in, there's no punch card to prove I did it but he knows full well I've done it from being around. As I was going out I got treated when another snarky remark about going to bed early so I wake up in time.

Don't worry, I can be snarky enough. I just don't really need to engage the old guy.

He's been declining for a while yet he's the only thing holding the place together as his son isn't half as valiant.

He's turning 67 (I think?) so I'm not entirely surprised it's difficult for him to adapt sometimes with the more intricate things of the web, as hard as he tries to.
He's at the point where he's easily overwhelmed with new technology and the amount of work he has to churn out. He's a good sport most of the time though and while not the best boss one could get I'll still miss him whenever him or I go. ;P

Family owned companies ain't easy man, he says black his son says white, they still act like 15 years ago when they started and it was 3 people only. They expect you to invest yourself like it's your company haha

Good bosses are hard to come by...kinda how it works.

I think I'm generally doing a good job but, I'm sure if you liquor up my staff, there will be those (or all) that say I'm a horrid person and etc.

My current manager is not bad...she has days where she can be unreasonable and I think gets emotionally caught up...but, most important for me is that she has my back and trusts me. We have days where we argue like a married couple...

There's always going to be people who disagree with your views, whether you're their boss or not. I think it's a sign something is awry when the majority find their boss hard to deal with though (like his son).

I don't sweat it. In the workplace and in life overall I'm hard of approach people say. My humor is dry, sometimes too dark and I've been told by people that they first thought I disliked them when in reality it's simply a small lack of tact and empathy. I don't always account for emotions as much as I should when dealing with people and it's a dangerous path to take when you have to deal with humans and not only machines.

Agree. Sometimes I'm like... ehhh 3G TL not so great... then I look at it and even all dirty she's still nice to look at.

I need to fix my AC mildew smell. Used 1z klima cleaner last year, didn't do much. Really don't feel like trying to reach the evap to clean it manually. I got a can of lysol, anyone has success stories? Looking at you rs143, since you're in FL I guess humidity is a constant battle.

I'm thinking of spraying it in the vent under the hood from reading a few threads on azine but I want this shit to be fixed for real instead of a temp thing. I use my AC twice a year, I like having the windows down, but nothing is more of a turn off than having to breath through 11 years of mold or something
