Had a long day at work, had to buffer for everyone because coworker had to leave for her mother-in-law, was tiring AF.

Went to the gym, took half a pre-workout, swear it was the best upper body workout I had in a while.

Wifey and I are off to see FF7 tonight also.

She just asked "which car are we taking?"

"The Sonata."

Fuck, I'm old balls. Can't keep up with those young whipper snapper street racers

Saw a Lexus GS300 imported from Japan being sold locally with a 2JZ-GTE for only 8 grand.

Realized I should have bought a GS300. Le sigh. Insurance is cheaper on one, and that RWD

Also I was about to say, J, why didn't you buy a JDM AWD Celica or S15 instead of the S2000 and then I realized ... US import laws suck

We've got all the R34 and S15 goodness we want here ...

Yup, it's even worse In California.

Iirc you can import an R32 now because it's old enough. But you can't bring it to Cali.

I could get an R33 thou

Could buy a Japanese Supra for 15 grand with like 70k miles on it.

Just looking at the prices for imports is making me :boner:

Next car is definitely going to be JDM. Cheaper too

Also here's the GS300 beaut: http://www.tyeeimports.com/jdm-cars-...RTEX%20EDITION

Never got the appeal of the GN personally, but then I'm not the biggest fan of American domestics

Some of the JDM cars are so quirky and I love that personally

JDM cars are major ghay. N1h1l1ty, you're young and you won't get it at this point. In 5 years you might. I'll take any usdm car over JDM. Fuck rhd. I honestly think it's fucking retarded to drive rhd cars in lhd land.

There's a reason JDM cars are cheap. You'll get it one day.

Hope you like replacing headlights, because JDM ones don't meet our crash ratings. Sure, you can find a shop that will pass the car without them but that comes with other headaches, especially if you get caught or crash.

I hope you also like driving 15+ year old cars. Most guys on AZ try ditching their cars when they get to the 10 year mark- and there's a reason for that.

Hope you like making dangerous left hand turns when you can't see shit while sitting on the right. Or being a fucking asshole and holding traffic up until you can turn when the light turns red.

Hope you like cars that 98% of the time have some sort of drift tax associated with them.

Hope you like being pestered by the DMV and the government for having such a car. Good luck getting full insurance coverage also. I have yet to hear one company offer it, mostly because you generally can't get parts here for repairs. It's easier on a gs 300, but a skyline? Etc. Etc.

JDM cars are cool if you're under 23. After that and after owning multiple cars you realize it's just not worth it.

Etc, etc, etc.

But hey, you're young. I know you won't listen anyway

@Ihatecars
I have always loved the Grand National...main reason, it's a hooptie and a muscle car. Same reason I dig the SRT 300C and of course the CTS Vaginamanbroner. Whoopin up on ninjas at one light on the way to go pick up diapers and formula is fkng

Those JDM cars mentioned do nothing for me...I like those really old 70's Nissan's they rebuild though...like 240's or whatever that super old one is. I have to find the thread.

At heart, I've always loved Honda though...the vision from the original founders etc...there's something about them. I personally love what they do for me, Honda.

Also, I took the TL out last night to shoot some pics...enjoyed the hell out of it...extra little (tiny) torque...loud music. Something I had taken for granted when I sold the old S...one kinda defines the other. Whatever I'm lacking in one, I have in the other...when I'm in the TL, I miss the top down and shifting and handling of the S...when I'm with the S, all the good shit the TL has. So it's a perfect pair that compliment each other. Probably why a lot of people have both.

I have a co-worker who owns a GN. Bought it new, would never sell his. I think their stock is rising, which is why they're being flipped.

Yeah, I actually love vintage Nissans/Datsuns. Those cars have aged very well and they can look beautiful when restored... That 70s sheet metal design...

I don't know a single person over 23 who drives a jdm car though. Most of the cars are drift rats or those tiny kei cars, or SUVs. I rarely see older Hondas (maybe 1 in every 25 jdm cars?) always Subarus, Toyotas and Nissans. And soooo many are dirty girls. There's a reason they end up here. Just beat to shit, but rather than send them to the crusher, they get sold here for waaaay more. And a lot of jdm cars do get crushed. It gets really expensive to keep older vehicles in japan because the government increases taxes on them as they age to ensure locals buy new local cars. Helps stimulate the economy.

I really like the Classic Hondas too, from about the late 80s to late 90s, but no one imports them. They're too slow by today's standards and they never came turbo'd from the factory so no one cares. I've seen one jdm ITR. Never seen a jdm nsx on our shores. I've seen a couple civics and integras, but nothing crazy.

J, I forgot to add, I feel the same with the Miata and the TL. After driving the Miata for the first week, I was like "pffff... Forget the TL" but I've spent more time in each over the last two weeks and they are both great for very different reasons. It's hard to find one car that can do it all.

Mad night out yesterday. Fuck being 27 is not like being 18, I feel old. Got back home at 4, almost hooked up with a barmaid but then refrained which in retrospect is probably a very good thing. Brother was telling me how she's bat shit insane AFTER letting me go at it most of the night. Not that it was difficult, she was begging to get picked up, but still... fuck you brother lol

Also found out one my buddies I haven't see in a long time is like twice as buffed as he used to be yet I haven't seen him in the gym in forever. He barely goes and he doesn't drink when we see him anymore. Turns out he's on sauce, that I could imagine since he didn't drink and he's ripped AF (don't wanna drink while doing cycles of whatever crap). Why though? He started dancing in a club on the south shore of Montreal.

He was like "Bro I can get you a job, but if you don't 'have it' (talking 'bout the moves or something) then I can't help you much".
No thanks, I'd rather not dose myself with testo or steroids so I can strut my stuff on stage.

He also sent me the gayest pic ever of him and his 4 "coworkers" posing without shirts. I threw up a bit in my mouth.

Not half as much though, which was my point. He goes in for 30 minutes and gets ripped like no other. Anyway, fun for him, enjoy your health issues.

You get bigger, but not necessarily stronger. Especially if not working out. If that's what he's in to...

Roids scare me. There's been too many guys who would use roids and ended up dying way too young from heart attacks. I'd rather be scrawny and die at 90 than be huge and die at >35.

Back in the day, the thought crossed my mind, but I couldn't go through with it. I'm too big of a pussy to do so

It was somewhat readily available for a bit, about a decade ago. My brother's brother-in-law and his friends were juicing, but man, they got fucking violent. They would just go looking for trouble

Stupid, sexy, juicers...

Yep, you don't necessarily get stronger. Inflated sure, but stronger, not necessarily.

I've seen guys twice my size and obviously roid users from a few key points that have granny strength. It's always hilarious.

Also for all intents and purposes, there's a study that has shown that you can take muscle mass without working out by using steroids if you have never worked out before. I don't remember the exact specifics and do not care enough to find it, but during the study the group that had took steroids but had not worked out took more muscle mass (around 7 lbs I think) than the group who was working out without steroids (3 lbs I think).

I think it has crossed everybody's mind, every man who's went to the gym at some point in their life more precisely.

And no, not worth it. I'm not a pussy, I'm just not retarded. There's enough heart related problems in my bloodlines I don't need to fuck it even further. If it could be used in a very safe way, everybody and their dog would be doing it. Truth is, not enough is known about it to make it deemed safe. Long terms effects are difficult to observe.

There's so many diverse factors about studying juicers that it becomes a nightmare to distinguish reality from fiction and correlation from causation.

I was looking for a 6MT in good condition here, could never find one. They all had + mileage or weren't kept so good.
