it won't be molasses. it won't even look dirty as it comes out. once you getting a bit in the container you'll be using for collecting the fluid, you'll notice how dirty it is.

Great 2005 TL ranked as one of 11 best used cars under $10,000

My 07 is probably not too far off from that price

Surprises me. It's not a bad car, but why not G35? Seems like everybody and their dog likes them.

Last tranny question

Any reason to buy quarts over gallons?
Amazon.com: Red Line 30504 D4 Automatic Transmission Fluid - 1 Quart: Automotive Amazon.com: Red Line 30504 D4 Automatic Transmission Fluid - 1 Quart: Automotive

Also what are some key signs that one is indeed a tranny?

Ohh I should rephrase One of the 11 best. It's not ranked numba one.

And yes G35 is on that list too

I can't get a better pricing on gallon vs qts so I'm going to go with the later for ease of use.

Telltale sign I believe is waking up with a sore butthole in the morning. Then you know she was a he, and that you should never drink this much tequila.

Oh I see what you mean. As in "it ranked in the top 11" not #1 out of 11. What's the #1? Bimmer?

Oh noticed this morning that the homos who installed my wheels didn't torque at least one lug nut properly because it was LOOSE. Shat bricks. It's not broken or anything, and no other seem not torqued properly (from looking at them that is). I think the tech must have been on the last one, someone talked to him or some shit and he thought he had done it. Still freaking idiotic, glad there's 4 other ones on the wheel holding it.

Either way I'll take the torque wrench and put 80lb/ft on this baby tonight and I'll remove the wheels this weekend to retorque them... because no trust.
This is what you get for not doing things yourself.

didn't asianspec live in FL before moving to LA?

How did you ever meet up with him in the first place being up in the Arctic? The internet and this forum specifically blows my mind.. I swear I see so many friendships being born here on AZ (I remember I think it was Anil /Mr. Bell/Jeremy talking about someone's wedding and having a table for just AZ friends

Mmm...I generally keep it close to the chest on my private life OUTSIDE of AZ.

Let's be realistic: While I interact with many peeps and generally think well of most of them, I can't say I know enough of everyone to go past the general friendly banter/ribbing that goes on in the Net.

Cuz, well...you just don't know.

But, there is a small handful that I've fortunate enough to know through the years on a more personal level and there have been mutual efforts to be personal friends...so, yeah...asianspec would be one of them. Heck, a long-time member on here even attended my wedding back in 2009 and we are still good friends...

I mean, it would probably help if I were more closer regionally to some of you guys because I would not have an issue going to one of the meets...but, unless I'm going someplace to a location with members I know I interact often with, it's going to be hard to meet up.

Pfff... pussay. I've had all 5 lugs loose

You know somethings messed when you hear the "dugga dugga dugga dugga" sound and it speeds up when the car speeds up. Pulled over right away, first thing I checked was the lugs and they were all loose on one wheel

Just pulled the emergency tire iron out and torked dose bishes taight.

Apparently it's no joke when they tell you to retorque your wheels after 20 miles, or whatever it is. Or just over torque them to like 95ftlbs in the first place...

as an FYI- the beauty with 5 lug wheels is that you can get away with driving on 4. I dont recommend it, but in a pinch, you'll be fine. I used to have a company truck that i drove to site- we had a shop do everything on the trucks for us- guy said the same thing "retorque your wheels after 40km". Well i wasn't carrying a torque wrench on me and I was on my way out on a 400km drive one way to site. Needless to say, when I got there, one of the lugs was missing, lol.
