yeah I do the exact opposite...I run 1xD4 and 2xRacing...but this makes the fluid very thick...I have been wanting to do a 1xD4, 1xRacing and 1xLightweight...
this bring the viscosity back to slightly higher than stock...
also, Drain and Refill every 15K miles...too bad I only do 6-7 miles/year now...miss those 25K/year days

Clearly! Seriously, I very behind on mainstream television shows...I do keep up with the pro-sports leagues and the odd TV show (i.e. The Walking Dead and etc.).

You're just badder in maff than the average ...but, compared to the whole population of other cultures, you're still good. It's genetic.
K, that was borderline wacist, right? Excuse me while I go stand in the e-corner.

Been busy (and broke) though. Want to do a 1x3 this weekend but it's supposed to rain. I don't have access to a garage so I'm somewhat at the mercy of the weather, otherwise I would have done it on a weekday evening.

Anil, you're spooning out koolaid. The shit don't mix. I'm not talking about the add packs gunking, but like mixing oil and water, you're going to have pockets with one or the other. Some thin, some thick. Fluid should have linear viscosity at any given temp. If you have low visc in the valve body, which is proportional to line pressure, how does that effect the rest of the trans? It could essentially be performing operation out of spec because the line pressures aren't linear.
It's not like you're pouring syrup in the trans but little by little will take it's toll. What's the point of changing out the switches if you're essentially fucking with the pressure they're measuring. You might be better off with out-of-spec switches. Ask SiQ. You're playing russian roulette running racing type-f. You might be good now, but not everyone eats the bullet. I know SiQ and a couple others have. Be careful what you dish out as safe.

I suggest you guys use a straight ATF within honda spec. At the very least, stay away from mixing racing type-f, or if you do, stick with it. It may never go back otherwise.

While we're on the topic, Maj. If I wanted to switch to D4, should i do a 3x3 immediately or can i do 1x3 over X miles? Currently it's Honda ATF.

ladyboi.. shouldn't be an issue whether you want to do a 1x3 or 3x3. But if you do a 1x3.. I wouldn't wait too long before doing the next. If it were me, I'd do a 3x3.

thanks pinkpoodle! Guess I'll opt for D4 instead of DW1 with my pressure switches..
whenever I get around to doing those..

I'm not saying DW1 is bad. Just change it out regularly (~15-20k).
