Not so bad. I got the extra set of props in there, hopefully I have enough foresight to buy more before I'm stuck without any.

Working in Calgary today...and then off to some company-sponsored "working with unions" course since my minions are transitioning into the union.

I already told the group union or no-union, I'll still be the same. Union can suck my robotic salad-bowl.

Pretty much. I THINK my team's dynamics/culture should remain pretty much the same since I personally hired each...so, I'm not going to suddenly have some pencil-pushing union nightmare employee that we often see in large organizations that works and milks the union policies...

I had a superior I loved that sadly left for a better world and as he got up the ladder people remained exactly the same with him... because he remained the same. He used to be a guy for the employees then became "for the company" and I can honestly he made this shithole 10 times better.

So bad news and good news lol - front left shock fork seized completely - was a nightmare to get out. Good news is shop owner promptly found me a used one, and only charged me 30 bucks. I think it's my lucky day...

Also, allahu snackbar

Talking about tintsss... Some tinted out douchebag (5% all around, except windshield) passed a group of us on some blind curves this morning through a neighborhood. Only to get caught up at the light in traffic.

I was turning off, so I stopped in the turning lane, pointed, and laughed as I passed.

J, those are nice Konigs. My Konig Heliums were flow cast as well and they were pretty light. It depends on what size you go with, but if you stick to OEM size, they'll definitely be lighter by a few pounds.

I always thought as Konig as being a reputable company. Again, no forged goodness, but for what they're worth, they're all good. I presume you won't be tracking your S anyway.

Failures do happen, I won't disagree with that, but I think they're still pretty rare, even for Rotas. Of course, the more people that have a certain brand, the more failures will be reported, the worse they seem.
Wouldn't be the first time I've read threads of uber expensive forged wheels (not Weds, Rays/Volks, BBS, Advan, etc) literally disentegrating, or being caught just before catastrophic failure, with cracks visible throughout. Although it is wise going with one of the above brands, it does get tiring of seeing the same car with the same wheel time and time again. You buy aftermarket to be different. Instead, you join 10000 other s2000s with ce-28s.

love that shit, saw an Escalade get pulled up similarly.

Everybody slowing down and switching lanes on the highway because a cop wants to leave the side of the road after ticketing someone, the Escalade blasts through the lane doing 90mph and nearly clips the cop car.... police went after him, it was pretty epic. How could the Escalade guy not see the cop that I'll never know, he still had his big flashing arrow on top of his car half deployed so people see him...

J, alternatively, if you decide to go with baller wheels, may I suggest a set of Advan RGIIs/RGIIIs? So nice and you dont see nearly as many of these as some of the other baller wheels...

Gram Lights are nice as well, however, I don't understand why Rays wheels are broken out into Rays, Volks and Gram Lights. Whats the difference between the three? I heard they all come from the same factory. No idea if true.

Half the market is made by the same factory. Some disclose more publicly, some try to hide it.

Lol. I just realized that.

Well, they look identical to the RGIIs. No idea why they have the extra "I" in there. And they've been around a whole hell of a lot longer...

Good points boys...things to ponder!
I do love Advan...Betty put a stop to me trying to buy back my old set. Guy I sold them to has my 17 X 9 +45 and a set of 17 X 8 + 37...he plans to run staggered and would have an entire extraneous set.

Only problem...mine were dark gunmetal and his are new chrome. Meaning Powdercoat! So I'd be at $2K without tires (I don't like removing ability to slap my oem back on)...

Sooo...yeah...Betty wants a new couch and granite and I already got another S2000. Gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em!

Who Justin?!?!

Well if you do want to keep it on the cheaper side, I vote Enkeis or Konigs. Errrbody knows about Enkeis. Hell, we all even ride on them stock. I looked up some reviews on Konigs and everyone keeps saying the same thing- a good company with good wheels at a good price.

PS- black wheels would look gorgeous with Rio yellow... would also compliment your blacked out badges. Although I do love me some gunmetal grey, I'd say stick to the black. Dat shit will PoP!

a million percent NO on that.
I'm fucking over black wheels and zero contrast (although that doesn't apply on yellow vs nbp).

Tough to shoot, looks like nothing rolling...looks like doughnuts when parked from far...

I bought my first set of 19" works...thought they were gunmetal...all pics on the FS thread were laid down facing up so sky reflecting.

Bought the Advan...the camera made them this bluish color...which is what I thought they'd be. NOPE...fucking dark gunmetal... I do love them now...but I'm getting AWAY from the black.

Dude...I chatted with autoanything. Got a great discount going on right now...sweetttt...
Can't confirm weight anywhere online.

All they can give me is the shipping weight per wheel.

Fucking 30 pounds...
I was like, okay...for comparison on the RFP1 shipping weight.
21 pounds.

They heavy as fuck...dammit.

Shoot...stock enkei fronts weight 37.5 pounds WITH tires on the S.
