If they can peel it off carefully and have it look intact, it means they can get away with not paying their current registration.

A cop will see the current year sticker and think they're registered.


If they actually get pulled over thou, then they're fvcked.

Yes but it's still a hassle. All a cop has to do is see my old/missing sticker and then pull me over.

I haven't seen a CA sticker with a plate #. But yes I usually do put slits, but was lazy this time

Think if you renew online you may get one. DMV is trying to start doing that with all stickers to avoid them being stolen.

That is good but unless the plate # is printed very large or the police officer has super vision, they won't see it until they pull you over. At that point they could probably just run your plate number and see its registered.

Shoot, here, they have auto scanning of tags at red lights...it'll pop up expired. I used to put slits on it...but now I'm just so yolo.

Mine would be good to steal of either car...I pay 2 years at a time!
