I love Christmas!
Well, Acurazine is a place where we all spend a lot of time, speak freely, and point out other people's faults...
So yes...it's just like family!

I don't know who Robert is, yung?...but no, got caught up with work and responded...by the time I did there was like a whole other page
and again...proving my point.
and no, i didn't read the post because it started and ended with more "yada yada yada theoretical mental anil dyno yada yada i know everything about this car because i had subway for lunch while sitting in a holiday in express and even if i don't know everything i guarantee you when you prove me wrong what actually happened was you didn't understand what i was saying."
So I skipped it tl;dr style...like a fkng dumbazz.
The only thing I fkd up was misunderstanding the head and vs intake and boy have you hung onto that...

Again, I am not hung upto you misunderstanding head vs intake (I even quoted all posts for ya)....the reason I am pissed it coz yet again you make a baseless claim that I twisted words....
but yes, please go on with your posts....they are hilarious...
EDIT: not it, at

Samesies...
but yeah, that really wasn't even us arguing about anything. Just intellectual jousting. Kinda fun but hurts the blood pressure.
If we met in person, you'd name your next baby Jeremy, boy or girl.

Fair enough brother....
Now that I read your post, I have to mention, your analysis makes my point even stronger on the heads...they sure are the best bang for the buck....for a smaller displacement 3.2 engine, they might be perfect from the factory but since its all out and open, I would still do the port and polish/get it done and fly deck the head for slightly higher CR (even though I remember you telling me on the call that after a lot of miles the carbon deposit on the heads do hike the CR ever sooo slightly)...I do have a tuning solution so that would be my solution since I can tweak the settings....
for Justin, the 3.7 heads, Type S cams, maybe a port and polish is what I have been suggesting....the 3.7 manifold and TB seem to be a lot of $$$...now if he can find a set for a good price, hell, do it....but at $1000 they seem to be a bit over the board...now if our TB's fit the manifold and the cost was down to 200-300, I would be recommending that as well....
The j37 intake/TB combo is pretty and all but it's not all what its hyped up to be in regards to value. It's very expensive horsepower (what little there is) if you ask me! People fail to realize that Honda tunes parts in accordance to their displacement, not airflow. Think torque enhancement for the bulky MDX 3.7 which could breathe fine with a j35 manifold but by changing runner/trumpet design and length the j37 manifold manages to add more FT LBS to compliment the vehicle...it wasn't just used for airflow purposes. Though it WILL increase airflow, the airflow patterns are disrupted from their normal patterns that the intake was designed for and that causes a shift in powerband moreover the production of power. Bigger manifolds on smaller displacement engines that did not have a restrictive manifold to begin with generally drop torque to a nasty low level and then reduce the "usable rev range" or peak powerband from say 3800-6800 rpms to maybe 4400-6800 rpms. Then the engine hits rev limiter waaaaaaay before it runs out if breath. Not saying its always the case though. Someone may have been adding supporting bolt ons prior to a larger manifold installation. This then may compliment the added volume.

Honestly, I prefer for you to use your manifold on my heads
Dennis is around...show up with a pack of magnums, say this is to replace your damaged rubber, and give him a big

FYI whomever mods the 3G section these days, and maybe it's just me and maybe it's already known, but a ton of the links in the 3G garage either don't work at all or point to the wrong thread. Almost as if the DB was reshuffled and thread id's got erroneously updated/shifted.
