Whoah, Story...I hope your summer set up is handsome if you're planning on mounting.

Seriously though...I'd pay $140 more for the set of 4 for Michelin...that's killer.

changed oil and plug..

if you used good oil in the first place, it wouldn't need changing.

Spark plug never needs changing.

No Redline or Amsoil?

You are a terrible maintenance worker.

I've been working on small engines since I was a kid. You're just overzealous or you mow lawns for a living.

Just keep air filter clean and sealed properly. Shouldn't have to change for at least 100 hrs use.

no, I just feel, i dont mind 30 minutes of work and a quart of oil as compared to a cost of a new mower...

yeah I used some carb cleaner in the intake path...i did see slight amount of oil in there...might have gotten there when I rocked the mower to the wrong side...

I've never seen one personally, but I went to B&S site when you posted to see their recommendation (same). Saw an oil filter in the catalog as was like.. whaaaatt... I've heard of some yahoos running small engines from other applications on their push mowers that have oil filters. Not a bad idea.

I replace my oil every few seasons. Run 1.5 hours every two weeks per season.. probably 80-90 hours use before change. Always passes the taste test. Great for butt lube as well.

yeah i run it 1.5 hours/week and about 3 hours/week when the grass is growing quicckkk...

plus this is my first mower/mowing experience, so I am being over cautious...doesnt hurt anything

when I was checking out the manual, they mentioned oil filter and I was like "WTF an oil filter"....i think its a great idea...

I do SAE40 weight oil in my 7 year old craftsman hand me down...swapped it out after it sat for 3 years, added stabl to the fuel, had to take apart and clean the carb bowl (fkn ethanol), sharpened the blade with my dremel grinding tip...

Now, starts on 1 pull...

the ethanol killed the weedeater and blower though...had to give in and buy after multiple fuel line replacements and tune ups...still couldn't run it on anything more than 1/2 choke without it dying, then it just wouldn't even start.

I love how people just assume because of my online alias that I'm not an American.

And it's all because he was wrong in the Flight 370 thread. Lol

People are strange.

I reported him so hopefully action is taken.

Hey Anil,

I forgot to ask.. why mow grass every week?

What kind of grass do you have? I can't remember your house pics but I think you have st augustine no? You should keep your grass fairly high (3-4 inches).
