the S2000 redlines at 8000 (or 8500) rpm...the TL at 6800 rpm...
Gary, another thing is, reducing the VTEC does not always help, atleast not in the TL, 04-06 models VTEC kicks in at 4700-ish rpm which was taken up to 4900-5000 rpm in the 07-08 models....
I have graphs from Rodney (while he will still legit and into the ECU market), they were testing different vtec kick in points...the car made more power when the VTEC was lifted to 5000 rpm as compared to dropping it to 4000rpm....If I remember right, Andy had vtec engage in at 3500rpm, think he went back up after testing....
about 2 door cars...I think you cant really go wrong with either car...the S2000 is more powerful than the BRZ but at the same time, the loaded brz's curb weight is about 100-150lbs lighter than the S2000....I have driven the 350z nismo and that was an effin blast...I can only wonder how the 370z nismo would be....

Funny and there are a handful of dudes that have gone G/370 that say they miss the S2000...it's not because it's fast. It's just fun to drive...spend an hour in one, you'll become an advocate.

I had the 350Z Touring model for a couple years prior to my TL, the car was a blast to drive but I got tired of the harsh ride and wanted a bigger car I didn't have to shift. I raced an S2000 a couple times...straight line and they were really close, hence the closeness in times. I drove the S2000 once too, it was the first version...also harsh ride but also fun.

Up there with the Integra Type R, Civic SiR, and NSX...If $$$$ was no object for me, those 4 cars would be in my garage...and often driven.

Obviously, it's many years from now...but, I'm hoping that I can pick up a good condition Civic SiR, S2000, or Integra and set it up as a "hobby" car for Little Cha and I to work on and hooligan around on roads...

I do need to spend some time in one of these cars...I remember telling myself that I will be driving the TL until the wheels fall off...I am still on that track, cant imagine letting it go

Little Cha is a lucky fellow...daddy is a car enthusiast.
Closest my pop was...had a 64 Ford Fairlane GT500 convertible. But I was 11-13 at the time and that car was long gone prior to my 16th birfday.

Yeah...Dayton sent The Ohio State University packing in the first game. 99% of the brackets gone!
Safety Car
Harvard pulled off a nice upset too. My bracket isn't all that bad yet...still tied for 3rd place in my pool but it's still early.

Thanks for that, at least I was right about where the Vtec kicks in on my TL, I think I can feel it...

I picked Hahhhhvaaad...and believe it or not, I picked Dayton too cuz Penn State beat OSU twice this year. OSU was seeded too high and the A10 is a pretty good conference...I missed a couple others tho, I always pick too many upsets, cuz I love rooting for the underdog.

I went 15-1 on my NCAA Bracket sheet.
I picked Ohio.
And I don't follow basketball at all.

Anyone run into any issues using vinyl for the turn signal corners when modifying your headlights? I'm re-doing mine in the spring, but I don't want the vinyl to un-stick or peel
