I went the other night and before I left I noted the marks in the ceiling. I have no fucking idea how so many people shoot the ceiling and so fucking close. At least a dozen shots in the ceiling directly above the stand.
3 hispanic girls were 3 lanes over shooting a target 4 yards out. Scary shit bro. I think they hit the guide wire twice. They would cheer everytime they hit the paper and called the range officer over several times because it wouldn't fire.. he would come over each time and say "point it straight, hold it tight with both hands, pull.. pull harder... harder... harder.. more... more..." bang (scream) drops gun.

Hey, PSA has a stellar deal on red dots. Don't know if you have extra coin, but these are great red dots and lifetime warrantied. The SPARC has some issues but it's 2 MOA. Freaking awesome and if it acts up, they replace it. 2nd best option to an AIMPOINT IMO. AIMPOINTs are like $500.
You can co-witness the SPARC since it has a riser.

Went to the outdoor mall to buy some perfume for my Mother and had lunch at Lime, this Mexican grill. 65 degrees, my girl and top down were absolutely perfect weather for the 45 mile round trip.
I hate shooting at ranges like that, there's one at the local park where we had our last meet...long range, assault, rifle, shotgun. It's awesome!

Both indoor and outdoor ranges I go to stretch 100 yards. Once in a while I'll go with my buddy to the 1000 yard range. I wouldn't dare try +500 yards until I get the 7mm Rem Mag out of storage. I doubt I could hit steel at a 1000 yards but would love to try.
