Hah...the FX, folks. Since Kimchi thinks it looks like a sea creature, taking the FX to the mountains is like taking it back to nature.

I received the BC coils last night.
started taking things apart on the TL and then I remembered I made plans for a draft party.
had to assemble it.
took me 2 hours to disassemble.
only 30 mins to put back together

Should only take 20 mins to install coils.

One requires you to remove the strut, compress the coil, remove the coil, compress new coils, install new coils on strut, reinstall the strut.
The other is a swap of the strut.

With tophat swap, it's taken me between 3 and 4 hours to do coils on the TL.

but yeah, my plan was to take apart the TL and leave it on jackstands. justonjacks at it again!
I had raised the car and was just about to tackle the fork that the shock body slides into....when i remembered the draft party
that was about a good 2 hours. havent done it in a while, and at first i unscrewed the shock from the shock tower and let it fall when the car was raised.
had to line up the studs to go through the shock tower, that was a bitch! lol im not repeating that mistake

having to compress the old suspension
Chapter Leader (Southern Region)
I always get extra hardware, suggest you do the same (especially lower securing bolt). I've gone through a few stripped bolts and nuts. Car is left on jacks until the parts dept opens.
A few extra dollars is worth it. Swap them, get alignment, cruise.
