glad to see sooo many Peyton fans up in here
and +1 on Bowman's knee...I hope he can recover and play again....looked like he snapped that knee....
the Seafawks (not a typo) were very lucky yesterday...didnt get 2 major penalties which would have put 49er's back in....also didnt get 1 possession (Bowman's effort)....4th quarter, the 49er's just messed it up....they did have a winning chance but Kap was not able to deliver...
either way...here is to hoping Manning can deliver....
in closing notes....WTF Sherman....crying like a little girl...."dont you ever talk about me"...."Crabtree was talking about me.....mommy, you should call his mommy"
guess you can take the fool out of the hood but you cant take the hood out of the fool afterall !!!

Walter Payton was great because his talent matched his effort and he was loved by all. He went out in a lot of pain, but with dignity and courage. He lived as a man and died like a man.
Jim Brown was indeed a force, also one of the all-time greats. Definitely top 3 in my book.
You guys mentioned Barry Sanders, while great (maybe one of the greatest), didn't continue his legacy. He left with still several prime years on the clock. He could have smashed every record in the book. I don't know if he was burned out, or wanted to leave before being taken out, or upset that he couldn't carry his team to a ring, but it just seemed his talent didn't match his desire.. something Jim Brown and Peyton had pouring out of them. So for that, he's below Brown and Payton in my book.
Tons of great RBs.. Freaking Emmitt.. Adrian.. top 10 is a tough list to edge.

Wait a minute...didn't say I liked them, I said I respected them...big difference. And that is true...most Red Sox fans hate the Yankees let alone dislike. I have a friend here that is a Sox fan...he dislikes the Yankees and has enjoyed the last few years, I don't think he respects the Yanks either. After all, we do have Cheat-Rod.

rockstar; i finally paid the toll for the turn pike.
they sent me a letter saying all I owe was $4.50.
i procrastinated a month and it got bumped up to $6.50

It's not so much A-roid.. he's been a displeasure to every team since he started MLB..
We hated him in Seattle, we hated him in Arlington, and for damn sure definitely hate him in NYC.
Yankees are hated because of their empire / legacy, Steinbrenner , their general attitude, everything.

The guy is undeniable though. I'm sure some Seahawk fans have a love / hate relationship with him.
He spooked the hell out of Erin Andrews.
Regarding speed, that's only a small factor in coverage.

haha yeah I dont deny he is a good player and reads the plays very well....but not at all humble...
you dont deny someone a first down and say "good game" and get in their face....he loved to attract that kind of attention and reaction which draws a flag....
I dont like Tate either...with the taunting and almost got the touchdown denied couple weeks back

He left for Hollywood after securing the championship. I would say in his case, there really was nothing left to prove, and he definitely made the right decision, getting out healthy and filling his bank acct.

I was driving in Austin with some friends and we all just went through the toll without paying; so I called them a couple months later and they said " thank you for visiting Austin will wave this fee as a courtesy please come back ...

I had a couple of Sri Lankan friends growing up and during my school days. Good people.
I think I SHOULD be rid of my issues for the foreseeable future...esp. after what Ron A threatened to do to her wah-thread.
