It's not even remotely funny anymore -- he's like the 5th person to try that. I know AltecBX has been the first to bring us information that so far seems to be reliable... but if he really has more information, and says he will post it, then he should!

[QUOTE=Acuraboy7]
I just got my September MT this evening. It says:
"new front & rear fascia enhancements and interior tweaks....big news here is the yet to be officially confirmed arrival of a hot new Typs-S that should bring nearly 300 horsepower, a performance-spec suspension, bigger wheels/tires, and a serious bump in it's fun-to-drive index."
Guess well all just have to wait for the official Acura announcement to get the hard facts.

Here it is from HONDA.
"The Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD™) system on the Acura RL provides unprecedented handling and stability. SH-AWD™ will soon be expanded to other new Acura models (RDX, MDX, and TL)."
For your enjoyment on how the SH-AWD works.

Where did this information come from? Please Acura make it SH-AWD with at least 300hp and a manual!

I felt like I was watching a video from The Hanso Foundation . Maybe sh-awd is what keeps the world from ending as long as it's used every 108 minutes.....

Back on topic, everyone. This thread is about what the 07 is going to be like, not how it compares to this car or that car or how these other cars compare to each other or what kind of car your parents have etc ad nauseum.
I'll be glad when the 07's come out and then we can relax for a while before the 08 thread gets started.

Hey wait... Is this the 2007 Acura TL? Or is it a trick? If this is right, then it must be the 2007 !!! But at the bottom it says "For suggestions on how to find 2007 Acura TL pictures, stick with us".. Yet it seems to imply the 2007.. The article does talk about the 2007.. So it seems that it has new info on the 2007, but is trying to say they don't have the picture.. Or is that picture up top the picture? I don't want to give a false hope, but here it is: (and it is a bit early)

Hmm.. Reading this it has the number 2007 many times.. I'm starting to think it's a programmed net bot that has given me a bogus search result. In other words, it knows people will look for a 2007, so it pretends it has info that it doesn't. Also the HP on the engine doesn't really fit with what I'd expect, so I now think it's all bogus... Sorry.

The HP numbers they cite are for the 2nd gen TL and CL.

Okay Okay, we're out of control here.
I don't need to raise my car up on a garage lift to see that its not designed for rear or all wheel drive. It simply will not happen on this generation car.
I'm sure Acura is watching closely as Infiniti rolls out its stunning new G35 sedan in November, with 300 horses and avail. all-wheel-drive, probably for just un 40G's. Consequently, there may indeed be a TL sport model with more horsepower, bigger tires and a better-tuned suspension. And a new paint color if we're lucky. IMO, that's it. End of story.

The Civic Type R does not exist in the states- the one you might be referring to (Yellow hatchback version of the current gen, is not slated to go stateside). Or you could just be confused. Howver, the US will see a 4 door si.

Guys, guys! I got some information about the 2007 TL! I'm not joking either. Supposedly this guys on Clubrsx.com saw 2007 TL-type S in his neighbor. he didn't take pictures but he confirmed that it will have those Chinese-Style tailights. Read the link... This is most news we had so far. Enjoy!!!
