Sweet plates! Welcome to the custom plate club. How did you find out what was available? Texas makes it easy with a website.

Also Ohio has ugly plates.. Who thought it was a good idea to use random words as a background?

Yeah, there was a website... but everything I put in said it was available haha so I didn't know if it was working, but apparently it was.

You can't really see the words until you are close, the only thing I DO LIKE is that it's RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!!!!!!!!!!

I think mine was an extra $50

I really wanted to incorporate Cu2, but I felt like there was no point in a vanity plate if no one got it.

Long time coming! So excited about this build. I probably won't do any sort of DIY write ups on the accessory stuff, but if I feel like anyone can benefit from some tips on installing the SC, or aftercooler ( I believe Ill be the first Cu2 running aftercooled CT Super Charger) I'll def. update yall here in this thread.

I plan to do this in 2 stages

Stage 1:
-Bolt on DP + Rear Sway Bar + Welded Resonator
-Direct Bolt on SC Kit from CT Engineering

Stage 2:
-Replace original stock clutch assembly with SPEC stage 2 clutch assembly (2012 civic Si)
-Replace stock fuel pump with DW65a DW fuel Pump
-Replace stock spark plugs with Iridium colder spark plugs
-Install Aftercooler Kit
-Replace 3.8" Blower pulley on the SC kit with a 3.15" blower pulley
-Replace stock serpentine belt with 65.3" serpentine belt

This will be epic. Keep us posted. are you going to DIY it all or get it done by someone? How much power do you expect to be making?

btw what was the shipped price on all that?

I'm doing everything myself except for the clutch install most likely... I just don't have the space to do that or the time if something goes wrong. We have a service center at work that will take the car in the morning and by the time I get off have the install completely done. To me it's worth it to have Honda do that install and not have to worry about it.

Shipping was a pretty penny ~$200 but Marcus hooked me up on the other components so I know it's all worth it.

Thanks, my buddy is actually trying to make a mold of it, but it's on the back burner for now.

After I get the SC installed I may go in a different direction with the front end. We will see!

haha I knew you were gunna say something about the outlets lol

I noticed that immediately when I moved in.. it really bothers me that there is an unnecessary number of outlets all unevenly spaced and mounted at different heights.

Really messes with my OCD haha

The Supercharger kit is pretty much a bolt on right?I would definitely chose that route instead of turbocharge if they had it for 2012 models.

Yeah everything pretty much gets replaced with parts from the SC kit

I ordered the Merc aftercooler, I talked to them and they claimed that brackets for the cu2 are the same as for the cl9 (1st gen tsx)... I have my doubts, but if they are not in the right place Ill just have to modify it. Shouldn't be too big of a deal.

That should be another 3 weeks out...

And here are some pics from the Rear Sway Bar Install. Really easy, me and my buddy did it in ~2hrs while taking frequent beer breaks. Helps with cornering for sure. I like the addition.

Difference in size between stock (black) and Progress Rear Sway Bar (grey)

RV6 Downpipe installed ~3 hours.. the last 3 bolts that go to the 2nd cat are a pain in the dick.

Still have 2nd cat installed, no drone at all. Slight fart can when first accelerating, then smooths out (Im going to wait until the SC is installed to see if I want to replace the 2nd cat with resonator, for now the sound isn't bad). Feels like it breaths easier especially at the high end. Like it.

nice! did you have access to a lift at work? I'm thinking about a DIY for the pcd as well, but I think it's gonna be a pita to do in my garage... I only have 2 jack stands.

any noticeable difference in smell? I'd like to do this install but I don't wanna fail emissions/smog as its my daily and I'd like to avoid swapping each time before/after the test

oh and utah, I think the 80s was the birth of those trucker hats

Took 2 hours from pulling into my buddies garage to dropping it back to the floor.

DP feels good, I don't feel too much "gain" just feels free at higher RPM. Im gunna try and flash DimeFengs last calibration today though and give update, hopefully no more check engine code/ tpms

Yeah we have a garage at work that we can reserve that has a lift and tools (I think we get 3 hours), but we have to take a garage safety class first and I haven't gotten around to it. Also my car buddy doesn't work here so it's easier to just go to his house or mine.

I did the DP install with only 2 jack stands ( even though we had 6 lol.. we didn't wanna waste time getting the rear end up)

My emissions light hasn't come on yet.. still good to go.

As far as smell, I think I am still high from PB Blaster haha but no smell.

Check emissions came on after work today. Flashed with Dime Feng's cal just to see if codes were cleared, no luck.

Uploaded Optimus' cal which was tuned for DP and already had O2 sensor off. No more emissions code. Forgot how low VTEC was in that calibration.

Iunno.. my butt dyno isn't as sensitive as it once was lol.

It def goes WHHHHHHAAAAAAAA at 4000RPM lol

I got 46 knock on cylinder 1, 4 on cylinder 2, 8 on cylinder 4...

Probably gunna drive it to work on this cal tomorrow to see how she drives, then switch back to speed density with 2nd O2 sensor turned off.
