Very cool. Is it visible from the drivers seat? That's an awkward place. When I relocated my oem screen there I had to tilt it a whole lot so that I could actually see it without leaning over.
Is it ideal? No. But I like the fact you can close the lid and it's hidden.
Is it easy to see? Yeah I can see it from where I sit, but at full boost there is no way I can look that far down to see what's going on. But, it's not a turbo so I don't really have to worry about over boost.
Will I relocate? Possibly, but a lot of modification will have to be done to outside surfaces of the dash and I will have to extend the wire harnesses which is a pain.
lol Im not sad haha, a lot of people with supercharges don't even have these gauges. I only bought them so I could tune, and I could give everyone some solid numbers for this kit on a TSX. I'm ok with these gauges turing into a $350 novelty that only serve a purpose when someone new sits in the car haha.
Again though... I still might move them haha, but to continue my build this is the easiest and most convenient place at the moment.
I hope to give everyone Psi # for stock CTE kit, then with added Merc aftercooler kit, and again with Merc + smaller pulley. At least we will finally have some numbers on the board for the CU2 platform.

This is awesome, thanks for doing the R&D!
This might've been answered, but if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for the SC? Was it new?
I bought everything new for this boosted setup. I never said the price I got for the SC, but Marcus over at Heeltoe got me a good deal for ordering everything through him, and also ordering everything at once. So I got a couple $100 off the original price of the SC and a the other items I ordered.
And... I maxed out at 6PSI this morning to work. So it looks like the claims from the CTE are pretty accurate. I'll update people in the Boosted thread as well.
Just bought this guy! Thanks Axion for supporting me on my build and answering all my questions! I figured that I should probably install an upgraded clutch before aftercooling so I don't have any slippage problems.. almost at 100K miles now
So I was down to the rivets on my friction disc, and the outer edges had begun to unwind. There are 5 major "hot spots" on the the pressure plate, and flywheel. This is a natural phenomenon from releasing and engaging the clutch. This is why you resurface the flywheel when you do a clutch change. Generally only a few thousandths need to be taken off to even it out. Funny enough though, the "hot spots" are generally harder to turn down because they have actually changed crystalline structure because of the heat (kinda like quenching/heat treating a metal to make it harder). Anyways.. here are the pictures, I never realized the throw-out bearing caused so much wear on the the pressure plate fingers. Nearly .3mm less than nominal (that's the copper ring you see in the last few pics)
LOL mom

Oh when you get married this car parts on the kitchen counter crap is over, you will need to make some changes in the way you think LOL I got in big trouble for baking ceramic paint on to parts in the toaster oven had to spend 300 bucks on a new one, my wife swore it would give us cancer now
I've driven it.. pedal is super light! I can see what Optimus was saying about the spec clutches being light, and kinda hard to tell when it engages. It feels really good though, I forgot how clean the shifts can be.
As for my Mom, I sent her the pic a few posts up, where you can see "Spec" on pressure plate and where it is bolted up to the engine and she was like " what's that blue thing?" Don't you already have that?"-- SMH.. yes Mom that's what I replaced, I was updating you on the install.
Time to put some good power down. Make sure you remove the slave cylinder delay mod.
As I am not going to make this a specific track car, Im leaving the delay orifice in the slave cylinder. It may help save my transmission later down the road haha.

It's really cool stuff. If you're into it, you should watch the videos GM made about "hydramatic transmissions" aka automatic. That's a really good video and so is the "how a differential works". They are all really old, and in black in white but the theories haven't changed.

That delay will let the clutch slip into engagment and fry that new clutch in no time, that's why your old flywheel had heat damage, loose that thing ASAP, now that you are making more power it will do much more damage even faster
Got the wideband gauge installed! Looks pretty clean with the dual setup. Haven't wired it into the ECU yet, maybe later this week. I'll let everyone know how well this works with the FP and datalogging.
Also, did a test fit with the aftercooler.. doesn't look like the brackets bolt up to our cars like Merc told me it would smh kinda sucks cause I payed extra money for the kit rather than buying the units separately. Looks like I got more work down the road.
damn!! great job!! how much hp u get with the supercharger???
They say ~50HP
So I would say an honest estimate is about 250WHP... but wait till the aftercooler and VIT tune! I honestly just wanna break 300WHP, I would be happy with that
Are you still hitting that "wall" shifting when revved out now with the new clutch/flywheel??
I have only gone into that RPM range a few times since the new clutch, and from those few times I have not experienced any "hard" shifts with any type of resistance. I haven't pushed it really cause I really want to get this tune first. So far so good though.
